Hi all, just looking for options are an upgraded, higher output alternator. Ive seen some people upgrading to a AD244 unit. Mines either a 105, or a 124, with the 96.5 belt. I noticed my gauge twitching, and my lights ever-so flickering while under load. Battery reads fine, but alternator drops to about 12.7 while driving, every-now and then. Battery is less than a year old, grounds are new, and the headlight dimmer switch is new. Was wondering, is anyone running this exact alternator in there 5.0/5.7 vortec?

Any tips, or tricks to get this thing to fit atleast a somewhat better? For the life of me I can’t seem to get it to line up properly. I know it being aftermarket plays a part. Should I just try a different filler panel? The chrome LMC filler never sit properly anyway.

Just curious if anyone has a photo of this installed? TYIA
