My girlfriend (advanced open water) and I (divemaster) are looking to go fun diving when we visit Bali next month, specifically in Nusa Penida.

I haven’t dived in Bali before so was wondering whether anyone who had was able to give any recommendations re the best dive schools or dive schools you’ve had positive experiences with?

We may also look at Gili T but it’ll be one or the other due to the cost (this will be at the end of a 3 month travelling stint so we aren’t rolling in it).

If anyone has dived in either Gili T or Nusa Penida please could you share your experience and let me know which schools you’d recommend?

I’m hoping someone who has owned or tried both masks can help clear up some confusion.

**Before anyone tells me to try it on I will go and try it when I can, I just want to save myself a trip if it’s obviously not going to fit**

I’ve been looking at the TUSA Paragon S mask and have a medium/large face (6ft 3 male). While researching, I’ve found conflicting information about whether the Paragon S fits differently to the original Paragon.

From the specifications I’ve found, both masks appear to have the same fitting/skirt dimensions (118.5 × 126 mm), which would suggest they should fit similarly.

However, I’ve also come across comments from retailers implying the Paragon S is better for smaller faces, while others seem to suggest it’s aimed at medium-to-large faces.

So for anyone who’s actually worn both:

Does the Paragon S fit differently to the original Paragon?

Does one suit larger or wider faces better than the other?

Is the sealing skirt actually the same, with the only real differences being the single-lens vs twin-lens design and internal volume?

If you have a larger face, which one sealed and felt more comfortable for you?

I’m much more interested in real-world experience than marketing material.

I am looking to get some new gear (BCD and regs) but can’t afford to get both right now (note at the moment I just rent standard shop gear and dive in tropical/warmer water).

I was looking at both the Scubapro Hydros Pro 2 and Scubapro MK25 S620Ti regs (white version).

Which do you think I should get first? I feel the BCD will have a more noticeable impact on my diving but the regs are currently on sale and I’m not sure when they will be on sale again - although given their one of scubapro’s best selling regulator sets I don’t imagine I’ll have to wait all that long.
