Driveshaft backing out of jet pump pt2

I posted a couple days ago on this issue. Just started digging back into the ski. The main thing I wondering about is this video I got. Took off the pump and started manipulating the driveshaft by hand to get a feel for how much it’s able to move. Is this amount of movement normal? If you haven’t already seen my other post I would recommend looking at that to get some context on the issue. When the driveshaft goes all the way forwards, that’s obviously when the grinding occurs and carbon seal is no longer doing its job. When I move the driveshaft by hand, it feels like it moves forward slightly and then gives way the rest of the way. My brother also said that something didn’t feel right about the pto bearing. So my main suspect at this point is that. It seems like when the driveshaft is pulled all the way back that there is enough of the splines the engage with the impeller. So the engine alignment does concern me as much. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Driveshaft backing out of jet pump

I have a 2004 gtx 155. Bought it as a deal with a trailer. Came non running, just had to replace a bad fuel pump. Past owner’s main issue was a loss of all propulsion at higher top speeds, this also came with a terrible grinding sound. I’ve figured out that the issue is the driveshaft backing out of the pump. Past driveshaft splines were completely destroyed on the pump end. What would be causing this issue? I’ve struggled to understand what actually keeps the driveshaft in its place. I’ve heard the pto bearing mentioned multiple times. As well as the engine alignment. How I did and currently do understand it is the engine and the pump are spaced just right so that driveshaft buts up against the back of the engine splines, and the other end of the driveshaft is right up against the back of the impeller. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jet pump

This is the jet pump from the 09 seadoo rxtx 255. There is quite a large divot in the wear ring a 1/4 of the way along the impeller. Not sure how it got there as I don’t recall sucking anything up and don’t ride in shallow waters. Impeller also has a decent amount of chipping. Two things, how “bad” is the damage? The worst you’ve seen? Or just normal wear over time? Could this kind of damage affect top speed? As well, I’m going to be replacing the impeller at some point in the near future, to me it looks like an aftermarket solas impeller. The boot also points to that as it is not oem. Can anyone identify the impeller which is in the pump with what I’ve shown? I know there’s a part number casted into it if I take it off, just didn’t want to deal with that today

Need help finding a solution for boost gauge and blowoff valve

I have a 2009 rxtx 255. Im trying to trouble shoot issues and possible put in some performance parts. Im looking to put in a boost gauge and possibly a blow off valve, but need extra vacuum/pressure hoses coming the intake. The photos attached aren’t from my ski, but another ski I’m working on. The intake manifolds are exactly the same. From the factory the intake has a hole in it for an oem pressure sensor. I was thinking that I could maybe put in some sort of y branch which would allow me to attach extra hoses. I’ve struggled to find a part that would actually work for this so far, not too sure one even exists. I’m also not sure if the idea would even hold up. I dont know how adding extra lines would possibly affect boost pressure measurements and other things of that sort. Any kind of help is appreciated.

Need help with a Carbon Ring Replacement on 2009 RXT-X 255

As the title says I need some advice on moving forward with a carbon ring replacement on a 2009 RXT-X 255. Currently, I've got two main issues. One being that I don't have enough space to get the removal tool into a spot where it is not hitting the supercharger. I'm not sure how well the photos show this, but the driveshaft practically sits under the supercharger. Second issue is that the stainless hat which is on the shaft right now does not match the one I ordered. I know there have been some changes made to the whole carbon ring assembly throughout the years. Based on the diagrams I have looked at(which ive put in with the rest of the photos), the OEM stainless hat does not use a C-clip. The one I received does. I've watched multiple videos on carbon ring replacements, but none that are on my ski exactly. Thinking I might need to take off the supercharger at this point, which would be a pain. Also not sure how taking off the hat which is on the driveshaft might work if it does not use a C-clip. Looking for any kind of advice or thoughts at this point
