2018 Seadoo RXT X 300 reliability question

I’m thinking about selling one of my spark trixx and getting a 2018 Seadoo RXT X 300. How reliable are they? Not set on a year. Are there any years to stay away from?

Can anyone tell me what’s causing this noise?

1997 GSX I’m having trouble keeping it idling I have to hold the throttle in a bit in order to keep it running but when I go WOT it goes no problem and easily reaches top speed but when I let go of the throttle and comes back to a idle it dies could this noise be related to that? I’ve already been playing with the low speed screws and idle screws and it’s gotten better but still won’t idle right. Last I checked compression it was 148 both cylinders

Wanted to share my old girl

2005 RXP 215 SC, she’s on 248hrs run time had her since 120hours 5 years ago. SC rebuilt 2 years ago and haven’t used it since as seasons been awful. Will have to treat her with a new impeller.

Also any suggestions what I could do to this ski, engine-wise or electronically (modifications). Thanks.

Spark pricing question

What’s a good asking price for a 2023 seadoo spark trixx 3up. It has the front bin and rear step. It has 100 hours on it. I couldn’t really find my exact model on marketplace to get an asking price. That’s why I’m asking here.

Potentially seized engine? Let me know what you think. Full details in post bellow

This is my friend's 2016 130 GTI SE with just shy of 80 hours. I was not there when it quit but the story I got is that he jumped a wave and the engine shut off instantly upon landing, never to start again. There were no prior warnings on the dash, no lights, no beeping, nothing. It was towed to the nearest marina and they never exceeded 15kmh. The first thing I found when looking at it is a negative battery terminal so loose that it was about to fall off. I thought for sure that was the issue but no, the starter engages but the engine does not spin at all. I checked the intake for something jamming the impeller but it is completely free of obstructions or debris. Battery voltage is at 12.8v. I connected a jumper pack to keep the voltage up yet the starter pulls so much juice that the ski entirely shuts off after 2-3 seconds of pressing the starter button. I pulled the sparkplugs and found the plug of cylinder #2 to be stripped and impossible to get out. I know it was not this way before as I am the one that winterized this ski last year. At this point, I am very much fearing a catastrophic failure of cylinder #2. Is there a spot on this engine that allows us to either put a socket or a wrench to try and spin the engine by hand? This would be my next step before looking into pulling the head off. What do you guys think of this? Thanks

Tow valve question - Is there one of these two hoses that's favorable for a tow tap install?

I have seen people install their tow valve in either spots. Is there one that is better or worst than the other? Is is simply a matter of preferences? Thanks!

Seadoo spark 2015, gap of 1cm when putting top lid back on.

So much spark has been sitting in the garage for 2 years with the lid not screw on it.

I did maintenance on it this years, when I try to put the lid back on, there is a 1 centimeter gap on the sides, making it very difficult to screw it. I'm pretty sure this is not normal.

Any advice on where to check and the correct method to put it back? Like front first or rear first?

Here are some photos.

Sucked up rope in IBR GTI-SE

Just did a big oopsie and sucked up about 8 inches of tube rope into the SeaDoo GTI-SE with IBR. Got it lifted out of the water and am looking to do maintenance on it myself.

Any tips or tricks to remove the rope?

Again, it’s about 8 inches of rope and it’s towards the middle, not too far up towards what I think is the driveshaft. I can see that it didn’t get far in.

Thank you!

1997 787 spx Engine will crank but won’t fully start

For context, engine got flooded, I emptied the water out by taking spark plugs out and removing the water, good news the engine will crank, but it won’t fully start up. The video above is what happens. Does anyone have any insight on it? I assumed it’s either smth with the ignition and or an electrical connection is corroded/rusted so it won’t fully spark.

I'm wondering what a fair price is for my machine. I bought it new at the dealership at the end of the season in 2024 and rode it some, but then moved to a ski boat in 2025. I tried to sell it at the end of 2025, but felt the offers were way too low. I'm looking to sell it for a reasonable price, but I'm not sure what that is. Here's my description:

Best way to maintain a Sea-Doo battery when it’s sitting?

We have a 2023 Sea-Doo GTX 230 at our cottage, and lately we’re not getting up there as much as we’d like. We’d like to keep it in great shape, so I’m wondering what others do to maintain the battery when it sits for a few weeks at a time.

It’s still on the original battery. Last season was the first time I noticed it didn’t crank quite as quickly as it used to, but it always started and hasn’t given us any problems. I’m just trying to get ahead of it before it becomes an issue.

I was thinking of installing a NOCO Genius quick-connect lead directly to the battery terminals and leaving a NOCO Genius smart battery maintainer (1A or 2A) connected whenever we know we won’t be at the cottage for a few weeks. From what I’ve read, you can leave the battery in the Sea-Doo while it’s connected. Not sure!

Does anyone else do this, or is there a better way to keep the original battery healthy over the long term?
Thanks!

2022 Fish Pro Trophy Battery Help?

I'm hoping I've got this narrowed down.

Ride for a day or two and then i get low battery warning

Charge it at home and does it again after a day or two.

So battery is not charging or staying charged while riding...

Battery is at 12v while ski is off

Turn ski on and battery jumps down and then back up but only to 12.17v and doesnt move up

30a fuse in box is good and both inline fuses are good

Did a stator test on 3 yellow wire pins. All 3 pins read 27v on idle. Which is a pass and it passes ohm test also.

Had main starting battery tested under load and they said it's fine.

So that leaves me with basically the voltage regulator/rectifier correct? Hope so cause that's what I've ordered lol

Thanks

Looking for help with a part

I’m wondering if anyone has a 3d file for this part, mine fell off a few years back when I flipped the jet ski. I am capable of buying this one as it’s only $25 but it would be way easier to just print from a scan file if anyone has it. (plus need an excuse to print something)

Seadoo not starting

To to give some context, we were using the jet ski for about half an hour, and after that we fell off of the ski. got back on the ski and then it wouldn’t start and showed “engine” and now when the key is in with the engine cover off and plugs out it shows “sensor”

so we took it back out and we’ve now started to try and diagnose the problem. we have:
-Taken the Starter motor out and Checked to see if it spins freely and it does.
-Changed the Battery.
- Tried bridging the solenoid to see if the solenoid was the problem but still does not turn over after bridging.
-checked the flywheel after taking the motor out to see if it spins freely and it does.
- cranked the engine over and the engine isn’t seized it just seems to not be getting enough oomph to crank over quickly like it should be doing, almost like it’s being restricted in some way.

any help with getting this back up and going would be greatly appreciated :)
