I'm reassembling a '96 SPX that I bought in pieces, and I'm not sure how the fuel lines should go.
I have two fuel lines (why?), one of which is Y-ed and one of which isn't, and there are two nipples on each carb... how is this supposed to be hooked up?
I just bought a '96 SPX with a bad injection pump (oil everywhere), and I'm just deleting it.
My question is how to reconnect the oil lines. Is it just what I'm showing in the pic?

My intuition is that it would have driven money to be used differently to avoid the taxes - spreading it across the workforce more, investing in research, keeping assets as company assets rather than personal (company cars, for instance), philanthropy, etc. - but I don't have the data to support this intuition and might just be wrong.
What's the actual scoop?
I recall a time when the concept of Doom is that he was pretty much second rate at EVERYTHING (second to Reed in intelligence, second to Tony in Armor, second to Strange in magic, etc.), but -far- to egotistical- to ever admit that, and what made him a threat was mainly his -complete- monomania and willingness to give his all at -anything- that would give him an edge
This era of "Doom is truly better than everyone at everything" makes him boring, IMO
It seems like everything is "back" a half notch: I'm sort of in reverse when I should be in park, sort of in neutral when I should be reverse, and I never really get into drive
Is it normal to have to adjust the linkage when making this fix?
(also, whoever specced that crush fitting can rot ALL the way in hell)
Edit: never mind. The shifter cable was constantly in the way, and constantly flipping it OUT of the way unscrewed it enough to put everything out of adjustment.
I bought this from a guy who pulled the starter and then couldn't get it back on. Honestly, I see the problem :p
Is there an easy way to do this?

The car died on the highway, and it was apparent that the battery was dead. The battery was old, so I replaced it and that was enough to get me home.
Once home, I checked the voltage across the battery with the car running, and it was below 12v, so I replaced the alternator. With the new alternator, I was seeing 14v or so (I don't really recall, but more than 13)
Then, last night, it died again. When I checked the voltage across the (new!) battery, it was 5v :-/
I jump-started it, and checked the voltage with it running, and, again, less that 12v :(
WTF? Thoughts?
