My hobby is walking. Just walking down the same old streets, till you realise they're not the streets you knew.

Favourite song: Holocene by Zella Day and Weyes Blood "Time forgets no one..."

Psychological Russian Roulette

Hello! Hope y'all enjoy ethical dilemmas! I made this one today thinking about the Judging (Ti/Te/Fi/Fe) functions. I don't claim it to be 100% original, but I did put a lot of thought into it!

We have a hero, a villain, and you. The villain kills your entire family in cold blood. The villain's trusty aide, who was just following his boss's orders, gets killed by the hero in a fight. In the eyes of the people, the hero killed an innocent. You remember that years ago, the hero had once saved your life. You also know that both the hero and the villain have great fortunes.

You are given a three-chambered revolver with one bullet and two blanks. The hero and the villain stand masked in front of you. You have three choices:

A. If you fire the first shot at yourself, but survive, both are unmasked, and you can choose to fire at someone twice (you're obviously picking the villain). If you and the hero both survive, you have enough evidence to clear the hero's name, and earn the hero as your ally.

B. If you wish to not risk your life, you have to fire first on one of the masked individuals. If it was a blank, both are unmasked, and you can fire the next two shots at anyone. You earn the victim's fortune, and the survivor as you ally.

C. If you don't want to get involved in the dilemma, you can wish for both to be executed, without ever risking your life. You earn both their fortunes. You may also clear the hero's name posthumously.

After anyone's death, those left surviving walk free. No one gets to know what happened inside, or who killed who. But people would notice your wealth and your connections when/if you get out.

What will you choose in this scenario? Would your choice be different if you'd never met the hero before? I'd love to hear your opinions!
