Does Trintellex ED fade away with time?

I’ve been on Trintellex for 6 weeks now and I’m wondering if the erectile dysfunction is a side effect that would fade away as my body adjusts or not? Cause this is causing a big blow for my sense of confidence.

Spoke to a psychiatrist about this and he dismissed it saying it doesn’t cause ED. I told him it does to me cause I didn’t have it but now I do. Then dismissed me again saying the only side effect that it’s known to cause is nausea. Guess what? I have never experienced nausea with this pill. Ever.

Is it normal for a therapist to send a “checking in” email twice?

I’ve been on and off with this therapist for quite a while ( a year or two) maybe. Last session was three months ago. In which I was talking about how I want to get medicated but I am too overwhelmed and have been waiting to get medicated for 8 years. He then gave me a “baby steps” plan to follow which actually did help me get medicated.

Now that I am medicated and actually doing things I’ve been super busy and postponing contacting him again. Until I realized that after two months he sent a checking in email which I keep forgetting to respond to. Then two weeks later he sent another email saying the same thing and that they’ve been thinking about me and what I’m doing. He also offered help if needed.

Is that normal? It is a friendly thing to do, but is it ok for a therapist to do this, professionally speaking?

Ps: as I write this down I am realizing that I might be over thinking this a bit. But getting opinions of other people won’t do no harm.
