I burned myself out lmao

So I’m 21, before last year all I had really watched in my life as far as tv shows were things like the arrowverse, marvel shows, and the early seasons of all american, outer banks, stranger things, stuff like that. Only elite show I had seen was daredevil. Anyway, about last year, I decided I wanted to start watching shows fr so I rewatched arrow, then daredevil, then:

  1. dexter
  2. hannibal
  3. breaking bad
  4. true detective season 1
  5. the penguin
  6. better call saul
  7. the sopranos seasons 1-5 (as crazy as it sounds I never finished it ngl)
  8. mr robot
  9. vinland saga

I always said that dexter and daredevil would be my 1a 1b and nothing would ever top it. Well, honestly now I’m not sure. Top 6, in any order, they’re so close I honestly couldn’t even rank them now:

- daredevil
- dexter
- breaking bad
- better call saul
- vinland saga
- regular show (my childhood show)

the first two got me obsessed with tv, then breaking bad, bcs, and vinland saga I feel like ruined tv for me. They were all so peak I had tried to watch other shows and since then I haven’t been able to watch them.

I was really excited for:

- lost
- the walking dead
- aot
- barry

things of the sort. But I barely made it past the first episode. The farthest I made it of these was attack on titan, 9 episodes before I gave up but that is the one I really really want to watch. But it’s been months since I’ve been able to really watch a show I just have been watching mrballen and nothing else really because I binged all 9-11 of those I listed over like a year

Anyway, what would you do in this situation? I’m scared to start something I won’t finish again no matter how bad I wanna see it. I’ll force myself to watch something if I have to, did it with breaking bad and bcs and it was extremely worth it so

It’s so lame that this place has such a bad rep on this sub and app as a whole.

By no means am I saying it’s perfect, a top 5 state, whatever, but acting like this state is at the bottom of the barrel is just wrong.

Sure if the best healthcare and education is absolutely mandatory for you, it’s not the best. But there are decent schools. Clemson, U of SC, proximity to healthcare at duke or in atlanta, and some in SC is decent. Obviously this isn’t its strongest point.

SC has amazing nature, beautiful places in the upstate like caesar’s head state park, table rock, other things of the sort. Amazing coast like hilton head island, charleston. Great food here as well.

Affordability is also a thing, sure wages aren’t as high but it is mostly generally affordable unless you’re in the lowcountry and don’t have a strong field of experience.

Friendly people, lakes, hikes, only a couple hours from atlanta, charlotte, mountains in western nc and some in the upstate.

Greenville and charleston are amazing places. By far the best. Lots of people will go to Columbia or myrtle beach and have a bad experience and decide that they don’t like south carolina. What people fail to realize is this state is very diverse, maybe not AS much so as NC, let alone california. Still great diversity. Options. Things to do if you have hobbies. There are clean, safe areas and solid quality of life.

The whole state is not perfect obviously. Most of the midlands is not ideal. Neither is myrtle beach. But there are solid places that bring it up.

I just don’t like when people will lump SC together with LA, MS, even WV sometimes. People love to hate on this state and a lot of times people haven’t even been here! It’s such a robotic thing to say.
