I’ve been seeing this guy since last fall, and a lot more recently over the last few weeks. He doesn’t have a clipped ear but is extremely friendly to people, takes cat food and treats, will rub up on me and sit on my lap on my porch, etc. Been feeding him when I can and thinking of trying to take him in to a vet and then adopting him.

Before doing that I wanted to check if anyone knows if he is an owned cat or a neighborhood stray or anything. He seems pretty well groomed, and doesn’t have his ear clipped like I said. No collar either. Was thinking of taking him in to see if he is chipped but didn’t want to take someone’s outdoor cat!
