Where to begin? Radial veinDVT but no diagnosis.

I’m a 36 year old female with an unprovoked upper extremity dvt that so far cannot be accounted for. For the last 6-10 months I’ve had chronic pain in the left side of my neck and top of shoulder, left sided pulsatile tinnitus, and now this DVT in my lower arm ( radial vein) as of April. I’ve had MRIs, MRAs, jugular ultrasounds, a hematology work up. Nobody has once mentioned TOS, despite my job as a flight attendant which includes using my left arm repeatedly overhead and to open 200lb aircraft doors, as well as pull luggage and carry a heavy bag. After doing a lot of research, TOS feels like the explanation. Where do I go from here? I don’t see my primary until 6/3, and my hematologist until 6/28. I’m so stressed and tired and scared, and in pain. I’m currently on eliquis for anticoagulation, but I carried some heavy bags on my right side last Friday and have had agonizing pain in my left neck/ shoulder since. Any input or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what to do- flight attendant with rare DVT in radial vein

Hi all- like the title says, I am a flight attendant, and I was diagnosed a little over a month ago with a subacute DVT in my radial vein, which I’m told is extremely rare. The hematologist doesn’t know what caused it- no catheters or cancers as is usually the case with UEDVT. Pagett-Schroetters wasn’t mentioned. I tested negative for clotting disorders and so far negative for APS, despite elevated numbers, but she wants to rerun them again at 3 months out to “confirm the negative”. I don’t take hormones or birth control. I have been a social smoker and have had up and downs with my weight but as of last year have maintained moderate smoking and a 30lb weight loss with Pilates and Whole Foods. But I digress- so basically I have this random, unexplained, rare clot that I was told won’t totally dissolve. Ive been on eliquis for 34 days, on a leave, and I won’t receive an ultrasound or see the research hospital specialist until late June. But to be honest- I’m terrified to get back to work this week. I know what happens in the worst case medical scenarios when we don’t get cleared to divert. So basically, I’m looking for any input or similar situations or reassurance? I’m thinking I will go on medical leave, which is unpaid, but at least I’ll have the peace of mind until I can see how well my clot has healed and let a specialist weigh in? Am I overthinking this?
