Looking for a Lawyer/CA Co-founder (Bengaluru Only)

I'm building a civic app focused on improving accountability between citizens and public authorities in India

The product design is complete, App is ready, internal testing is underway(kind of causing delays as we want to do it right), and we're targeting our first release in August. We're looking for a lawyer or CA based in Bengaluru with hands-on experience in company registrations, startup incorporation, founder agreements, and corporate structuring to join us as a co-founder.

Initially, you'll own:

  • Registering as a Private Limited company
  • Founder agreements, equity structure & corporate governance
  • Building our legal and compliance framework
  • Privacy Policy, Terms of Service & Community Guidelines
  • IT Act, 2000 & IT Rules, 2021 compliance
  • Content moderation, grievance redressal & legal notice processes
  • Working closely with product and engineering to build compliance into the platform from day one

As we scale, you'll become our Head of Legal, leading fundraising legal, partnerships, regulatory compliance, external counsel, and everything else legal.

What you'll get:

  • Founder-level equity, No salary or payments until we raise.
  • A seat at every major product and business decision
  • The opportunity to build one of India's most trusted civic platforms from the ground up

This won't be easy. We'll have challenging conversations with regulators, investors, engineers—and maybe even politicians. But if we get this right, we'll build something that can genuinely improve civic accountability in India.

If you're based in Bengaluru and have experience setting up companies and advising startups from day one, I'd love to talk. Please DM me—we're looking to bring someone onboard ASAP.

Looking for a Corporate Lawyer Co-Founder (Equity Included)- Bengaluru

Building a hyperlocal civic accountability platform. Think social media, but focused on local governance, citizen participation, and making public accountability visible.

I'm looking for a lawyer who's crazy enough to join as a co-founder and help ensure we don't end up in court while trying to improve the system 😅

You'll own:

  • Company registration (Private Limited)
  • Legal and compliance strategy
  • IT Act 2000 & IT Rules 2021 compliance
  • Grievance Officer responsibilities
  • Working with external counsel as we scale

Equity is on the table. Looking for someone who wants to build, not just bill by the hour. We launch in July 1st week, Dev in full flow.

Looking for a Full Stack Dev to Build India’s Next Big Social Platform

NOT A JOB POST, need actual help

Looking for a strong Full Stack Dev (preferably Bangalore based) who has actual experience building social media products — apps like Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Chingari, Moj, Kutumb etc.

I’m building a civic-tech platform that honestly feels like a social media platform with a real purpose behind it. Over the last few months, I’ve spoken to 100+ people, validated the idea deeply, and figured out something most civic apps fail at — how to get people to actually come back daily and engage naturally, not just install and forget.

The UX is heavily inspired by Instagram/Twitter because users already understand that behaviour. The difference is what sits underneath it.

All flows, branding, Figma designs etc are already ready. Pilot is planned for Bangalore before municipal elections, with atleast 10k users hopefully. I’ve already had investor conversations and I’m confident funding will follow once the pilot shows traction.

Right now I need someone solid on the tech side:

  • Full stack
  • Android + iOS
  • Ideally has worked on engagement-heavy/social products before

I can’t pay salary right now. Whatever small capital I have is going into servers + pilot marketing. But I’m willing to offer fair equity and build this seriously.

Not looking for “bro let’s build a startup” energy. Looking for someone who genuinely wants to build something massive and meaningful for India. Could be the next unicorn (not a carrot), however change is my priority, Money will come regardless.

If this sounds interesting, DM me.

I think I've figured out how to fix civic accountability in India. Starting in Bengaluru

Kiran Mazumdar Shaw tweeted something a few months ago. DK Shivkumar responded. Bangalore roads got fixed — temporarily, but they got fixed.

That got me thinking. Viral accountability works. But only if you're Kiran Mazumdar Shaw.

What about the rest of us?

Courts and RTI exist, but the system is designed to outlast your anger. The average Indian has just... given up. And honestly, can you blame them?

I've spent months sitting with this problem. What if every citizen's complaint got the same visibility as a viral tweet — automatically, by design, not by luck?

I think I've figured out the flow. Design is done. The UX borrows from what already works — Twitter, Instagram — applied to civic accountability. No need to teach anyone new behavior.

The goal: get this live before GBA elections 2026.

Now I need the builder, the dev, the citizen in you. Have some honest questions —

  1. Need dev help (front + backend), legal help. Where do I start?
  2. How much do I share with people who reach out — designs, workflow, pitch deck?
  3. Currently building Web-app first using AI platforms, target 1K beta users — sensible or am I cutting corners?
  4. Is crowdfunding a real option here, or a distraction?
  5. Should I start a subreddit to track community interest and post build updates?

If any of this resonates — drop a comment. Even just your thoughts on the questions help.

Build with Bangalore Public ?

So, a few months ago, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw posted on twitter, and DK Shivkumar the home minister responded. I saw it myself. Most Bangalore roads got fixed although temporarily.

This made me think…viral accountability works. Provided enough citizens talk about an issue, if the issue is given the right visibility.

But then, would it really work for every citizen?

The no as an answer to the question made me realize…we need something more concrete.
Something more solid and sustained.

I mean, tweets and posts on instagram do go viral enough, and get enough attention to the problem to get it fixed, but…how many times does that happen?

That’s the part I knew needed fixing.

Platforms for accountability already exist like courts and RTI, but the system is so designed that our anger eventually dies down. The regular Indian citizen has given up.

Brainstormed and sat with this problem for a few months, and I finally feel like I’ve put together a social media userflow that can make all every citizen’s valid concern get the attention it needs.
Biggest advantage here ? The flow for the app is solid and already available from proven platforms like twitter and Instagram.

Technology can change this.
I believe the future of civic accountability is a solid civic platform.
An avenue…an app – that’s BY the people, and FOR the people.

So, here’s where things stand.
Workflow is ready. Design is done. I am pretty sure I have gotten the design and flow.

And this.. is where you all come in.
Need help with dev, need help with legal…along with people, who have real conviction that we can all make change happen, if we come together as a unit.

I want to do this right, so on the financial front, I am not sure if chasing funding is the best way to go about this right now. I believe that money shouldn’t have an undue influence on how this is developed. I do have a revenue component that we’ll build on, but that’s a bridge we’ll cross in the future.

My aim is to have this app in the field before GBA elections scheduled for 2026.

The end result is clear as crystal in my mind, much like

I’m as clear about what I want to build as I'm sure that this will come together only if we all do it together. So, if any of what I am doing resonates with the dev, the builder, the citizen in you, I've got some questions for you. Please do share your views:

  1. Right now, I need dev help to build the front and Backend, legal help, and enough money to get things off the ground.
  2. At this point, when folks do reach out to explore this - how much should we share with them? The designs? The logo? The workflow? The app screenshots? The pitch deck?
  3. Currently, I am making a web-app( i think this is achievable fast using AI platforms) and need at least 1k beta users. I'd rather create a full fledged app, but as things stand the web-app direction seems like the best one to take. What do you think?
  4. Should I look at crowd funding as an avenue to fund this?
  5. On the community growth front, should I start a subreddit where I or my team posts regular updates and the member strength actually shows us user interest?
