Which airline would you choose for an interesting life? Delta or United

I have a strong passion for aviation, and airplanes are very important to me. For a long time, I have been trying to decide between Delta Air Lines and United Airlines, especially for a future base in New York, whether that would be at John F. Kennedy International Airport or Newark Liberty International Airport. My difficulty is that both airlines have their own advantages and disadvantages. Delta has a very prestigious reputation, while United is known for its strong international network. However, what matters most to me is something slightly different. I am looking for an airline that offers: many international destinations, a wide variety of aircraft types, and especially a strong fleet of wide-body aircraft. From what I understand, Delta may have fewer international destinations from New York compared to United, but Delta has an impressive variety of wide-body aircraft, including the Boeing 767, Airbus A330, Airbus A350, and in the future the Boeing 787 as well. On the other hand, United has an excellent international network, but over time it plans to retire several aircraft types, including the Boeing 767 and eventually parts of the Boeing 777 fleet, which may leave the Boeing 787 as its primary long-haul aircraft in the future. Since I truly enjoy different aircraft types, it is important to me to have the opportunity to fly on a variety of airplanes rather than mainly one model. At the same time, I would also like to choose the airline that is considered the strongest and most preferred by passengers in New York overall — not only at a specific airport base, but as a leading airline connected with New York itself. I would really appreciate your advice and perspective.
