baby crying at daycare question

Hello everyone!!! I so respect what you all do. I am a teacher as well, just elementary school level so not quite the same. I just enrolled my daughter (8mo) in daycare and I am having a super hard time with something. They have cameras so parents can check in during the day. Today I was watching and my daughter was sitting on the ground crying for an hour and nobody went over to check on her, pick her up, comfort her, anything. Is that normal? I’m stressed. On one hand I am super understanding that there are a lot of other babies in the room who need attention and care. As a teacher I understand that. As a mom I am so upset that nobody picked her up for an hour. They only picked her up after I messaged them that she needed to take a nap (kind of another story but it was just that the first teacher didn’t communicate to the other teachers, but resulted in baby not sleeping for almost 7 hours) I really want to be respectful, but it just doesn’t feel right. I’m just wondering what is normal and what is not.

Baby on the move

Our current set up is we have a crib with the side wall taken off right up against our bed. So far she has stayed on her own mattress unless she wakes up needing snuggles, then I’ll pull her closer to me. However, she has started to really start rolling and moving around when she wakes up. I’m worried that she’ll roll her way over onto our mattress and fall off the bed.
What should we do? Change the set up? I’m mostly worried about her rolling off during a nap or when she’s sleeping and we aren’t in bed with her. Sometimes she sleeps in later than me, and we put her to bed before we go to sleep.
