Thank you vaccine

We all know correlation ≠ causation. Response to the anti-vax camp who think vaccines caused my autism.

Just look around!

Dogs evolved from ancient Grey wolves. We literally witnessed their evolution. Although technically they are still sub-species, soon they won't be.

Non-Intelligent Design?

  1. The recurrent laryngeal nerve detours inefficiently down to the heart before looping back up to the throat, stretching 15 feet in giraffes for a net distance of inches.

  2. Our respiratory and digestive intersection forces food and air to cross paths, making choking a leading cause of accidental death in humans, a hazard entirely avoided by whales, who have completely separated breathing and eating channels.

  3. Bipedalism's biomechanical constraints forced a horizontal quadrupedal skeleton into a vertical pillar, causing universal back failure and uniquely dangerous, painful human childbirth compared to other mammals.

  4. The appendix is an evolutionary dead-end pouch, risking lethal rupture from appendicitis. (Recently we learned about some gut functions but it's a very poor design).

  5. The coccyx is a fragile, easily fractured leftover tailbone with non-functional vestigial muscles, occasionally resulting in babies born with actual tails.

  6. The human eye is wired backward, making light pass through nerve cables and creating a blind spot, unlike the octopus eye, which is wired forward and has no blind spot.

  7. Our sinuses drain upwards from cavity ceilings because evolution stood us upright without moving plumbing holes, leaving humans uniquely prone to painful, chronic sinusitis.
