Confused about the timeline in ‘Kitchen Confidential’
Currently reading the book and I’m a bit confused about contradictory statements made in the book, and I can’t fond any clarifying information online.
In the chapter ‘The Happy Time’ he talks about his time working at Work Progress and directly sites 1981, which he would have been ~25 at the time. He ends the chapter setting up his direct move to Tom H. covered in ‘chef of the future’. But he claims that he was 22 at this time. 25 to 22?
I figured you all here might be the closest thing to experts I could reach, so what am I missing with this timeline, or was he just misremembering? Seems a bit glaring of a contradiction?
