Upcoming left lobectomy

Hi all! I (32f) have had a nodule on my left lobe for about 5 years of so. I’ve had an ultrasound a couple times and finally got in to see an endocrinologist. Endo said because the nodule is approximately 6cm and is causing swallowing and breathing trouble and a bit of nerve compression, I have to have a biopsy and then a lobectomy. The biopsy is scheduled for the beginning of June and the surgery is supposed to be done by the end of June. I am, understandably, nervous about this whole series of events and so I was hoping you guys would have some ideas of questions I should ask my surgeon at the consultation.
