30 [M4F] California — Looking for someone I genuinely enjoy knowing

I’m 30 and live in Central California. I’m currently in a pretty active chapter of my life: going back to school, building a career in wildland fire/forestry while working on growing my contracting company on the side, and generally trying to create an interesting and purposeful life rather than just going through the motions and accumulating more stuff.
I’m definitely more outdoors-oriented than indoors, although I’m perfectly capable of disappearing into a video game or watching anime for an unreasonable number of hours. I grew up in the mountains and will always consider them home. I like hiking, trails, forestry, camping, skiing, sailing, working outside, and learning practical skills. I’m also serious about fitness and like having something physical to train toward.
On the more introverted side, I play video games (mostly Warhammer 40K and anything by Bethesda), listen to audiobooks, write, have an unreasonable number of ideas for projects (some active and some less so) at any given time, and can happily spend an evening talking about history, economics, religion, philosophy, business, or some completely uselessly fascinating piece of fictional lore. I also LOVE houseplants and have a Siamese cat, so I happily range from bidding my next project to wildland firefighting to worrying about whether a plant is getting enough indirect sunlight.
Personality-wise, I’m curious, pretty independent, sarcastic, and conversational. I like people who can joke around and don’t take themselves excessively seriously, but I also really enjoy conversations that go somewhere deeper than small talk. I’m much more interested in learning how somebody thinks than collecting a checklist of facts about them. I’m naturally trusting, to a point, and really don’t share much with anyone beyond that.
I’m not particularly interested in forcing a relationship out of an internet introduction. I’d rather meet someone, become friends, talk regularly, do things together, and see what develops naturally. If that eventually becomes something romantic, great. If I meet someone genuinely interesting and it remains a friendship, that’s still a pretty good outcome.
As far as what I’m looking for: someone kind, intelligent, curious, reasonably active, capable of communicating directly, and comfortable having her own interests and life. You don’t need to share all of mine. In fact, I’d much rather you have things you can introduce me to.
I spent my twenties bartending, island hopping around the Caribbean, building a career as an executive administrator, and failing at being married.
I’m childfree and looking within the childfree community for the obvious reason: I want that fundamental life decision to be compatible from the start, rather than something either person expects the other to compromise on eventually or at the start.
A few easy conversation starters if any of this sounds interesting:
Tell me about something you’re currently obsessed with learning about.
Give me your strongest unnecessarily specific opinion.
Tell me where you’d go tomorrow if someone handed you a free plane ticket.
Or just say hello. I’m not going to make you complete an application and probably won’t read your bio.

Also, my first post was deleted by mods because it didn’t “show enough effort” but I think it’s reflective of my sense of humor and felt more casual than writing an entire bio of my life someone may or may not bother to read so, here’s that as well,
“Just looking for a friend…
…who likes house plants, hiking, and has red hair and wants to fall in love but not saying anything about it because we met under the pretense of just wanting a friend and then more or less the plot of the second half of Pride and Prejudice.”
