Has Sloan accepted the egg (for whatever reason), what do you think would have happened? Do you think Saphira would have hatched for Katrina, or would she would have remained inert? I'm on a re-read and wanted to know what everyone thought

I can get my plane to take a shaving, but after a couple passes the blade's retracted again. I think the adjuster is broken where it meets the chip-breaker, but I'm not sure how long they're supposed to be bc this is the only plane I've ever really seen. Any ideas on how to remedy this are welcome!
