1 year of frog owning has fattened up my boy :)

It's been almost a year since I had my first frog dropped on me, and I've never been more happy to have an unexpected animal! Taking care of the frogs and having a feeding + cleaning routine has also helped me regulate my own schedule a little better. Listening to them sing at night makes me feel accomplished too, lol.

Going back through my pictures, I'm only just now realizing how awfully skinny Beau was when I first got him (first 2 pics were how he arrived ☹️). Now he's fattened up significantly, and is still very healthy and active! I've added a couple of plants, accidentally killed a couple by burying them too deep, and now I have 3 really strong Amazon Swords and 2 Red Tiger Lotuses that the frogs like to hang out in/on, plus some sprigs of grass and moss that I'm entirely forgetting the names of. I also added a better heater/thermometer, much larger rocks/gravel, and a couple of easily accessible/escapable hiding spots.

Frogs just might end up being my gateway drug for other aquarium species, they're so much fun to take care of!
