Tonsil stones disappeared after I figured out I had Hashimotos - sharing in case it helps
I've had tonsil stones for a few years and couldn't figure out why. Earlier this year I ordered my own thyroid bloodwork and found out I have Hashimoto's (TPO antibodies were way out of range).
Since cutting out gluten, dairy, and most soy - not a single tonsil stone.
My best guess is my tonsils were constantly reacting to ongoing immune activity. Once I reduced the inflammatory triggers, they stopped.
Not a doctor, just someone who finally got answers by getting their own labs done. If you've had recurring tonsil stones with no clear cause, it might be worth looking into your immune/thyroid health.
Get your bloodwork done.
