so, is anyone else genuienly repulsed by red's choice to make avallach a good guy?

so a little background on my experience, i first interacted with the witcher through the cdpr's first witcher game, then played witcher 2 after which i read the first of two collections of short stories titled "the last wish" after which i played witcher 3

playing the witcher 3 i even kinda liked avallach until i got around to reading the rest of the books, finishing the short stories with the sword of destiny collection and then the saga i was quite repulsed by red's choice for avallach who in the lady of the lake kidnapped ciri to tir na lia to force her to breed with king auberon against her will in order to produce a child, avallach in the lady of the lake is one of the more evil antagonists we meet in the story of geralt and ciri and yet reds thought it would be a good idea to make him a good guy and not address his crimes

whats worse is there already was a character whose role they gave to avallach, the fucking unicorn, they replaced the unicorn with elf mengele
