2016 Ford Edge

I thought I would come on here and ask if anyone has ever had to replace the black panels that surround their panoramic sunroof?

I don’t want to break them so I wasn’t going to attempt to pull them off before asking other ford edge owners! I have went on google and found that there is replacement parts. I also thought about simply applying a black vinyl just on the pieces that are sun faded.

Any helpful information is appreciated!!
