March 21-26 Mont Saint Anne

Hi, we have just booked a large group to go to Mont Saint Anne for March 2027. It is on Epic but it looks like we can also buy ski passes directly from the mountain. Epic is still kind of cheap so it looks like adult is worth it, but my kids (10, 13, 14) may be cheaper if I buy directly from the mountain. Is that the case? That said, Epic does make us buy a 4 day pass which I am not sure I want anyway.

Also, can anyone tell me about the skiing or other fun stuff to do while we are there or on the way from PA? We will have 7 kids aged 7-14 who are very good, not amazing, skiiers. We will be driving from the Philly area. Thank you!

Around the world in Philly

I saw a reel where a woman tried all kinds of different restaurants around Pennsylvania, and it made me think that could be such a fun thing to do with my family this summer. My kids are 9, 12, and 13. They can be a little picky sometimes, but honestly they’re probably less picky than most kids their age.

What restaurants or cuisines would you suggest that go beyond the usual Chinese, Indian, Mexican, or even Thai options? I’m looking for places that focus on a specific country’s cuisine, aren’t too expensive, and still have some approachable options for kids with slightly picky palates. Thank you!

Hi, I will be traveling to NYC with about 40 adults and kids from Philly to see Hamilton on a weekday. Kids vary in age from 8-14. We are considering arriving 2.5-3 hours early to hang out a bit and I am making a list of things they could do before the show at 1:00. I want to give people options so they can do their own thing. I have the following possibilities, but does anyone have any other recommendations for lunch/activities? Closer to theater district is a plus. I am thinking we can leave 1.5 hours after the musical so we can still get some Times Square action for those who want to go check it out. Thank you!

Museum of Mathematics, Intrepid Museum, Spy Museum, Starlight Diner, Central Park playgrounds

Edit: I do not expect or want our group to stay together. I just want to give them a list so they can just check it out and decide what to do on their own before we meet at the theater.
