The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the dates for Choice Selection, Fee Payment, and College Reporting for Engineering, Architecture, Nursing, and other UGCET courses:

Choice Selection: Last date to enter your choice is 28-07-2026.

Fee Payment & Confirmation Slip Download (Choice 1): Extended up to 29-07-2026 (4:00 PM).

College Reporting (Choice 1): Last date to report to your allotted college is 29-07-2026 (6:00 PM).

Important:Failure to select a choice within the deadline will result in automatic assignment to Choice-4, and you will be completely disqualified from participating in any further rounds.

🔹 KEA is waiting to receive official NEET candidate data from NTA/MCC. Once received (expected in 2–3 days), eligible students will get an SMS & WhatsApp notification.

🔹 After the notification:
• Log in to the KEA portal.
• Enter your NEET Registration Number.
• Download the updated Verification Slip with your NEET rank.

🎯 If You Got Your First Preference

If you received the college and branch you placed as Option 1 and are satisfied with it, no changes are required.

🆕 Fresh Option Entry

Candidates who have not yet entered options can still participate by paying the prescribed ₹750 fee and completing a fresh option entry.

📄 Reservation Certificate Updates

Students who recently obtained SC/ST or other reservation certificates can update their application using the RD number issued by the Tahsildar. After verification, they can proceed with option entry.

🧘 New Courses Added

The seat matrix for Yoga & Naturopathy has now been uploaded, allowing eligible candidates to add these options. (Earlier, Yoga & Naturopathy, D.Pharm, and B.Pharm options were unavailable due to the pending seat matrix.)

⏰ Important Deadline

All option entry changes, additions, deletions, and fresh entries must be completed by 10:00 AM on 9 July 2026.

KEA has confirmed that the counselling portal is functioning normally, and no extension will be provided after the deadline.

📌 Provisional Result

After option entry closes, KEA will publish a Provisional Result to check for technical issues. No preference changes will be allowed after this stage.

KEA stated that many seats remain vacant, including approximately:

• Engineering – 2,000 seats
• Nursing – 20,000 seats
• Allied Health Sciences – 3,000 seats

Candidates are encouraged to utilize the remaining time to submit or modify their options.

Will you lose a good mock seat in the final round?

Please do not worry. In 90% of cases, you will either retain the seat you got in the mock round or get an even better one. Many Medical, Dental, and AYUSH aspirants have currently entered options and held engineering seats as a backup. Once NEET results are integrated and medical counseling begins, they will release these engineering seats, creating even better opportunities for you.

If your rank was updated after 29 June 2026 (for example, after CBSE revaluation), it was not considered for the mock allotment.

🔹 CBSE Revaluation Marks

KEA will consider updated CBSE revaluation marks (both increased and decreased marks) for UGCET ranking.

Students whose marks have changed must visit the KEA Office on 4th, 5th, or 6th July 2026 with their updated DigiLocker marks card for verification and rank reassignment.

🔹 Seat Matrix Update

The seat matrix for the following courses is not yet available:

- B.Pharm

- Pharm.D

- Yoga & Naturopathy

To avoid delaying the first round of Engineering counselling, KEA is proceeding without including these courses for now.

🔹 Option Entry

If the seat matrix for the above courses is released after the mock allotment results, KEA will provide a 3-day option entry window so eligible students can add these courses.

Candidates of B.Pharm, Pharm.D, and Yoga & Naturopathy will get another opportunity to modify or add options during the second round of counselling.

If your Class 12 marks have been revised after revaluation, submit a copy of your updated marks card at the #KEA office in Bengaluru between July 4–6.

#KEA will verify the revised marks through your DigiLocker account and then issue/update your rank.

The #KEA office will also accept submissions even on Sunday (July 5).
