Added DOF, nudge and an analog plunger to my build

So far into my build i have about $190 dollars into my mega budget build. I started at $80 then spent $106 on solenoids, controllers, mosfets, accelerometers, and stuff for an analog plunger.

I have to say adding those things really enhanced how the machine plays, sounds, and feels. It’s still not like playing a real machine, but having 45n solenoids really makes it feel like there is real force hitting the “ball”.

I’ve definitely learned a few things doing it on a budget and not buying some of the amazing prebuilt solutions out there. Tip 1: don’t bother with 5n solenoids for anything on a V-pin. They really don’t have enough kick. 20n would be the minimum I would go with.

Let me know if you y’all have any questions or if I should maybe do a tour/break down video of my costs and how I kept the price down.

My first virtual pinball machine build! Is it trash?

That’s a rhetorical question… because it is made out of nearly all reused and repurposed materials. So far I have $75 out of pocket into it. Mostly of my cost was bolts, screws and display adapters. If anyone is interested in my process or some of the ways that I improvised to keep the cost low let me know.
