Blood pressure/weight gain

For context - I didn't know there was an ideal weight gain / such a thing as too much weight gain and I didn't know that weight gain is associated with large babies (I just thought that was genetic) and I didn't know about the risks of large babies until very recently.

I am about 7 months now. I have already put on about 30 lb and now my doctor is telling me I have to stop gaining weight. I feel v scared bc I don't know how to stop gaining weight, even if I diet. Like won't I have to gain weight because the baby is growing? I don't know if I should restrict calories while pregnant. Also I just feel hungrier now so it's harder to resist / minimize consumption.

The doctor also said I have a lot of swelling in my feet and I need to cut out salt from my diet. This is also confusing bc I thought swelling was normal. My ankles are def pretty bad but I just don't know how worried I should be or how to fix it?

Would appreciate any advice on how to minimize sodium and safely halt or minimize weight gain at this time. Would also appreciate advice on how worried I should be about the +30 lb I gained and the potentially large baby. (At my 20 week scan the baby was on track for a very average weight, though that may have changed?)

brooke mason cringe

It's just kind of ick. Like ok you have a rich husband and you want to flex, but you also prob make a lot of money yourself so why make such a big deal about needing to be taken care of

kelbi voice

Ok i can't sing for my life so I don't want to make fun of her for being off key but something about kelbis voice (not just her pitch) is so annoying and kind of whiny here - I didn't really notice it on the podcast before but it's been really clear in the last few posts

daily rule wedding

I'd been noticing this for some time but Emily rule kept insisting on "getting stronger not smaller" for her wedding even though it seemed like she was definitely getting smaller, and from her recent wedding photos it looks like she's the skinniest she's been at least since I started following her. Her dress practically highlighted her hip bones. This post was made like the day after her wedding I'm def getting a low-key orthorexia vibe
