Launched today: a tool to turn your work into a shareable personal website

I launched a small side project today called Resuma.

It helps people turn their resume into a professional personal website they can share with one clean link. You can set it up quickly, keep it updated anytime and export a PDF when a file is still required.

I built it because most people still present themselves online with a messy combination of PDFs, LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio links and old profile pages. That works, but it's fragmented and usually out of date.

What I wanted was something simpler:

  • one place for experience, links and projects
  • no coding or design work
  • fast setup
  • custom sections
  • PDF export when needed

Would love honest feedback from other makers:

  • Does this solve a real enough problem?
  • Is the pitch clear?
  • What would make you try it or ignore it?

I built a tool that turns resumes into personal websites. Would love feedback

I launched a project today called Resuma and wanted to share it here for feedback.

The problem I kept seeing was that most people still present themselves online through a messy combination of an outdated PDF, LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio links and maybe a personal site that takes too much effort to maintain.

So I built a simpler option: a tool that lets you create a polished resume website in minutes, publish it at a clean URL, keep it updated anytime and export a PDF when needed.

The goal was not to build a fully flexible site builder. It was to make one focused thing work well:

  • fast setup
  • clean presentation
  • one link for experience, projects and contact info
  • PDF export for traditional application flows
  • no design or coding skills required

It's mainly aimed at job seekers, freelancers, developers, designers, and other people who want a better default online presence without building and maintaining a full custom site.

I'd love feedback from other devs on a few things:

  • Does this solve a real enough problem?
  • Is the positioning clear?
  • Would you frame this more as a resume tool or a lightweight personal site builder?
  • What would you expect from something like this that would make it genuinely useful?
