Ordered LPII!

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered a light gray North American LPII. Can’t wait for shipping in a few weeks! Thanks for sharing your experiences in this thread. It’s helped me make this decision. I’ve been de-centering my smart phone for over a year by getting single use tech and I finally took the plunge.

New VCU oncology patient

Mods- please delete if not allowed! Searched the sub and saw the last post was a year old.

I’m a new VCU oncology patient and I’m freaking out! This is indeed my first rodeo! I’m in my 30s, hit the gym 3x/week for the last 10 years, eat healthy, haven’t drank in years… just feeling defeated cause it felt like I did everything “right” but I’m still at this point. I’ve only heard negative VCU/MCV oncology stories, can folks share any positive experiences? Any tips? I know to start a “care journal” documenting all my tests, blood work, dates of care, etc. TIA

About to hit 120 payments

My 10 year PSLF loan is about to be forgiven in 4 months- that’s when I hit 120 payments. I can’t believe it. I’ve been working in public service for 12 years (I didn’t pay during COVID hence the extra 2 years). I didn’t think this would ever be possible. Am I crazy for considering going back to school for my masters after it’s forgiven? I’m so burnt out from the field I got my bachelors in. Is it insane to get my loan forgiven just to pick it back up again? TIA

I am interested in the Geospatial Information System(GIS) certification program. Can someone who has taken that course share some feedback? When did you take it, What was your experience like, was it worth it, do you feel it helped prep you for GIS careers? Were you in person/hybrid, etc. Thanks in advance!

Additional context: I did my BSW at VCU in person in 2010. I liked my field placements, classmates, and professors a lot. i've only done school in person.
