Hiya, I have a question about an interaction at 43min34s on this episode of game knights:

Josh playes The Eternal Wanderer, intending to -4 it and board wipe. Jimmy wants to stop the board wipe but has lethal scheme and targets spider man instead? Couldnt he have targeted The Eternal Wanderer in response to in entering? Surely josh wouldnt have an opportunity to activate the ability in that case.

Am i missing something? All of them act like jimmy didnt manage to find anything to stop the wipe. I feel like im missing a rule here..
