Views on Lmniit vs Thapar
I know it's kind of boring now, as lot has been said on this. Just want to add my 2 cent.
I have taken admission in both. COPC thapar, Got AI& DS in Lmniit. Obv will take a call in a week.
I have visited both the places, got them reviwed by a known who knows faculty at both the places and taken there view and i spoke to seniors.
If you are looking for academics only, LMNIIT is the place.
If you are looking or expecting campus life and academics both Thapar is the place.
Thapar is more flashy, Lmniit is more subdued.
Seniors at Lmniit were not very appreciative about the proffesors and facilities. Though CSE is good as per them.
At thapar, it was mix, some were like it is best place to be and others are like, yes it's ok.
Not much a difference ,
If you are in top 30% you would be fine.
