Did Cacique change Queso Fresco recipe or is it just spoiled?
Am I just crazy or have the Cacique brand queso fresco (specifically one in attached pic) been consistently bad?I don’t think they’re necessarily spoiled since the expiration date is nowhere close to today, but it’s sour straight out of the package. I’ve eaten this cheese for years and have never had this problem. I’ve gotten it from different stores, even in different sizes, but they’re all the same. I always make sure to refrigerate the cheese immediately so I know I’m not doing anything wrong. This has been going on for months I keep trying other brands but eventually try this one again only to be disappointed… again. Is anyone else experiencing this or am I insane?
