can World War Z two become the adaptation fans want?

i’ve never read the books, but I’ve watched the movie a few times. I think one thing it does really well is capture the sheer chaos happening in real time. A lot of apocalypse movies don’t really show how chaotic things would actually be when everything starts falling apart.
That said, I think the movie is good for what it is, but I’ve heard the books do it better.

for those who have read the books, do you think there’s still a way they could save the adaptation with the sequel they’re working on? Or is it too far gone at this point?

Helped me become a better father

Sup fellas/ladies

in my late 20s, been gaming since I was 7. Since my teenage years, I could never really put down FPS and competitive online gaming, and been addicted since. Recently, I just felt like it was time to move on. I realized I could no longer chase competitive gaming and also be the present father I always wanted to be. I have two kids, both under 5.

my dad was always there and he provided for us, but he never really spent quality time with me. I always told myself I wanted to be different for my kids. But looking at my own habits, gaming was becoming something that took away from the very thing I cared about most. I found myself waiting for my kids to go to sleep so I could play. waiting for them to leave for daycare so I could get on. It honestly scared me when I realized I was looking forward to those moments more than the moments I was supposed to cherish.

rock bottom was when I started seeing the photo memories on my phone, and yeah man it really hit me. Seeing how fast my kids are growing made me realize that these moments don’t come back.

Gaming will ALWAYS be a part of me. I’m excited for the day I can play Minecraft, Super Mario, and other games with my kids and share that joy with them. But the competitive side of gaming has become something that was holding me back, and I’m honestly grateful I was able to let it go. In practice, I deleted all the games and gave my account away to a nephew which has tons of paid games lol.

i’m so much happier now man. Do I still miss it? Absolutely. There are times I want to jump back in. But I’ve learned that what’s in front of you matters more than what you’re leaving behind.

if you read this far, I hope you make it too. cant speak for everyone but whatever season of life you’re in, don’t miss what’s right in front of you. those moments are the ones you’ll wish you could get back.
