Thoughts on Priscilla Presley hate?

Hello all. This is kinda random, but I was just scrolling on TikTok and came across one of those "celebrity deaths so far in 2026" type of videos. The creator put a clip of Priscilla in it with a caption like, "Priscilla, please don't die," and I went to the comments just to see what people were saying. The entire comment section was honestly brutallll. People were saying things like "no she can die," "she can go," and that they literally don't care.

Ever since her daughter Lisa Marie's memoir came out and showed a different side of her as a mother, the internet has completely turned on her. It's just wild watching public opinion flip this fast and seeing how harsh comment sections get over it. Curious what you guys think about all of this. Have you noticed it too? (for those who care.)

Did Chuck D's "Fight the Power" line actually ruin Elvis's legacy?

Hi everyone. Im 19 and im a black Elvis fan. I recently found out about this song from the 80s called "Fight the Power," and people say this was the song that really brought back the rumor about Elvis being racist.

I know Chuck D has clarified over the years that Fight the Power was more about how the media ignored Black music pioneers than a personal attack on Elvis himself. But for those of you who were around when the song dropped, what was the immediate reaction? Did it significantly change how people viewed Elvis's legacy back then, or was it mostly seen as a commentary on the music industry? Would love to hear from people who remember that era.
