my friend group is full of jjba fans and we’re trying to convince someone to watch jojos but they’re reluctant. what are some reasons that y’all enjoyed the anime and why would you recommend it?

i recently discovered that my friend makes remixes of songs on various homestuck albums. i’m curious and interested in learning about the music he likes, but i don’t want to burden him with educating me on the topic. i thought i’d start here by asking how the comics and music are related. i’ve read a tiny bit online about how the music is used in flash animations, but there are so many tracks compiled that i can’t seem to understand how it would all be used/featured.
additionally, i’m not entirely sure how to begin getting into homestuck in general, as i would love to support a friend’s interest by learning about it. if anyone has any advice on that, i would appreciate it.
sorry for my complete lack of knowledge here but i thought this would be the easiest place to ask about it. if any of you want to use this space to infodump on the topic, that might help me out. thank you!!
