I plugged my usb disk into my pc and now it says i need to format it.

I have a LaCie rugged usb disk, it always worked fine on my mac, but the other day i decided to plug it on my windows pc, and it recognized the disk but i could not get access to it. when i opened the disk administrator it had a black tag and said ''Not asigned''. I searched a few tutorials and one said i had to change some stuff (change letter and access routes). N ow the disk says its in RAW mode (or something like that), and i cant open it nor in windows or mac since it says i need to format it. I tried recoverit and the files are there but i cant afford rn the price for it and i have work stuff on the disk i truly cant loose. If anybody has any clue on how to reconfigure the disk, or fix it, i really appreciate it, thanks!
