Toni and Joan during the custody battle

This might be a hot take, but Toni was a terrible friend throughout the years and was not there for her many times, but when Joan finally decides to choose herself, she’s seen as selfish. Toni was the only person responsible for her child’s wellbeing, why fire Concepcion when you need full time childcare and can afford it and then get mad at Joan? I think Joan could’ve been a better friend at that time, but she was not as bad as Toni overall

How did you restart your period?

Currently almost 90 days with no period, 28 BMI, I work out and don’t eat much processed food. No alcohol either and I recently started low dose metformin 2 weeks ago. This is the longest I’ve been without a period

PCOS is no big deal..

Recently saw my GP/ PCP and I’m a little perturbed. I was recently diagnosed with PMOS and prescribed metformin and I want to see an endocrinologist to help me manage my symptoms (irregular periods, insulin resistance and rapid weight gain). I talked to my GP about getting a referral for endocrinology to better understand my condition and my doctor tells me that it’s really no big deal, I should lose about 10 pounds and that a lot of people have PCOS and don’t even know it because “it’s not a big deal, you may miss your periods a couple of months, but you’ll be fine”. I don’t think he meant to be offensive, but for me and many other women, my period helps to serve as a mark of my reproductive health and my fertility. I know that losing weight can help as I went from being morbidly obese to where I am now (about 15 pounds over weight), it’s just that I need more help. I’m extremely active and I don’t eat unhealthy food regularly. I’m just at my wits end and I haven’t had my period in so long that I’m going crazy. I was just hoping an endocrinologist could help me better understand and manage my symptoms

Why does review of credentials take so long?

Does anyone know why review of credentials takes so long at the TEA? I’m super stressed because my job depends on their review and certification, but it’s been almost a month and there’s no movement.
