Update for LSAT Writing piss story

I posted a story earlier this week about why I was afraid my LSAT arg writing sample might not get approved because I had to pee mid section and used my approved plastic water bottle to relieve myself.

Well my status in the LSAC portal in the argumentative writing section now reads “completed”.

Does this mean my writing sample has been approved? Do I still have anything to worry about? Is water bottle pissing the method?

Peed during LSAT Argumentative writing… what next?

During my LSAT argumentative writing, I had an uncontrollable urge to pee during the pre write section. I had a clear plastic bottle which I was using (as approved) for water so I quickly chugged the rest then used it to urinate in under the table.

I kept my head within the frame and only looked down momentarily to position the bottle and to bring the bottle back up, I kept looking at the screen while peeing and only used approved items to relieve myself.

I was able to complete my section (albeit with a bit of anxiety which led to me adding a 6 instead of a period at the end of my conclusion paragraph) without it immediately flagging/stopping but now I’m terrified of the potential consequences.

Anyone have any similar experiences? Should I reach out to LSAC or wait to see if my session gets flagged? If I’m flagged will I just have to retake the argumentative writing section or will my entire score be cancelled?

When can I expect them to reach out/approve my sample/flag it? Will the typo at the end have any significant effect? Is there any way of expediting the process so I don’t have to deal with the looming anxiety of a potential score cancellation? Basically, wtf do I do??

Edit: Someone please give me some advice bro 🙏🙏

LSAT next week, can I bring nicotine pouches?

I was wondering if I could bring nicotine pouches (zyn/VELO) to my LSAT to use during break. I saw conflicting information online some of which said I could put nicotine pouches in a clear ziploc bag which also contains my snack and I should be good.

LSAC guidelines prohibit tobacco products but zyns are tobacco and I’ve heard of people using nicotine patches during the LSAT normally within regulations. I was wondering if anyone in here has done so, how they did it, and what is the risk I am bearing? How intense is the in person search procedure? Would I be fine to leave it in my locker?

Also I don’t care for any moral judgments on my status as a nicotine addict lmao. Only other thread I saw on this subreddit was full of people shaming the guy who asked the question. If it makes you happy, you win, I’m a nicotine addict. Please just answer my question.

Highlight feature on Lawhub

I’m planning on taking the LSAT in August & accordingly chose the structure for August 2026 & onwards for my practice test. However, when I began the exam, the highlight feature was unavailable. I was wondering if this issue existed for others & when/if it is to be fixed?
