This is coming from someone that generally refuses to read online guides and likes to discover how things work in game, but also doesn't like to read in game guides in this game in particular since any time i spend reading is time i could be looking at stars and planets and flying a damn spaceship. I thought the super supercruise was something like an fsd injection you had to gather materials for.

I hit boost thinking i was out of supercruise and catapulted my ship a couple thousand light seconds away from where i wanted. It has changed my life.
