Pre-1920 Kresy: Pure secondary stack + no official archive search letter

I am contemplating applying for citizenship confirmation based on pre-1920 emigration from the former Russian Partition (Kresy).

Due to archival destruction, I have zero primary birth certificates from Europe, but I have certified 1890s population lists, tax rolls, and 1906+1912 voter lists of family members, along with a complete US vital chain. Because the archives in Belarus currently refuse open search requests, I also do not have an official negative search certificate.

Should I assume an automatic rejection at the local Voivodeship level and expect to be forced into the administrative courts to get this approved?

Is it worth it in the end is there any test cases that are like this that have been successful or am I looking at 6 years and multiple appeals all cause I have no vitals .

what should i aim for to break in as someone who wants to transition to ehs

Hello Safety Professionals,

I have a bachelor's in Environmental Studies/Geography and a master's in Urban Planning (environmental focus), but both fields are tough to break into right now. I'm an EMT-B and BLS certified, and I think that emergency response/incident background could translate well to safety work. I'm currently taking OSHA 30 (General Industry).

I'm based in Massachusetts and trying to figure out what to actually target for an entry-level role:

  • Is "EHS Coordinator" realistic for someone with no direct EHS work experience, or should I be searching for a more junior title (Technician, Assistant, etc.)?
  • Does my EMT/BLS background actually mean anything to hiring managers in this field, or is that wishful thinking on my part?
  • Any advice on breaking in without a safety-specific degree?

Appreciate any honest input.

EMT class to MA

I took a emt basic course and am state and nationally registered in Massachusetts ,

I know some medical assistants can draw blood and give injections but under our scope of practice that’s not a thing ,

How does this work if you are using your EMT license to work as a medical assistant I’ve applied to a few jobs that take EMT in lieu of certified MA.

Can someone double check my archival thinking for a Russian Empire case?

So I'm paying a researcher to pull archival materials abroad, and I want to make sure I'm targeting the right stuff. These 3 arguments are the basis for my pre-1920 case:

Argument / doc 1: This file proves the family was on the town's permanent registries, which automatically triggered Polish citizenship under the 1920 Act regardless of physical absence.

Argument / doc 2: This birth certificate links the migrating ancestor directly to the registered family unit, locking down an unbroken generational line for the consulate.

Argument/ doc 3: This tax ledger proves the family held active property ties to the town right up until 1914, completely defeating the argument that they abandoned their domicile.

Are these 3 arguments pulled from the archives enough for my already vetted case ?
