Is there a story where the MC gets dragged down to the other side? ie; his old beliefs contradicting his new beliefs, for the worse (and I mean joining the evil side). Where you’re just flabbergasted because that’s not what the old him would say or think, but you can’t deny that it’s still him, it’s just that his mindset changed because of circumstances. From promoting justice to being the evil that promotes injustice, a huge turnover
