Has anyone felt like you weren't able to fully pursue your potential due to limitations from your circumstances?

Ive been an active member my whole life and I love the Gospel. I've been blessed to be married to my wonderful wife and to have our children together. I would not change my path in life but when I read my patriarchal blessing I have a hard time seeing some of the things mentioned being possible within my circumstances.

My family is demanding of my attention and as a result I feel limited in my pursuit of a career that I believe is God's will for me. I want to support my family and they will always come first but I can't help feeling just a little bit of sadness that some of the things mentioned in my blessing might have to be left on the table. I know that he wants me to focus on my family first and understands my limitations. I also believe that he will provide opportunities if it is his will.

Its just hard after investing time and money to pursue my career, that I might need to set it aside. Has anyone struggled with these feelings and how did you come through it?

Edit: just to clarify, my career is mentioned in my blessing as a means of sharing the gospel through my example. This is the reason why I feel not pursuing my career to its full potential might be limiting me in fulfilling this promised blessing

Do any of you feel alone in your passion for aircraft maintenance or mechanical interest in general?

My wife has told me she has negative interest in all things mechanical including my job. My kids seem uninterested as well. I dont really have anyone in my immediate circle to share my intrerests with. Its kind of depressing at times. Anyone else feel this way?
