Worlds felt weird..

Is it me or worlds just didn't click this time around?

I haven't seen opinions online so far but to me at least; this worlds felt anti climactic :

-lack of competitive matches and game 7s

-quality of gameplay not being the best (falcons being the only actual team in form)

-lack of crucial storylines (From the outside its hard to relate to teams that didn't preform all season, like fut and VP)

-production not being the best

-Crowd's presence felt lacking, compared to lyon (im sorry Na)

-The 4 month Gab made teams that had actual momentum mid season (vitality and twisted for example) slow down and crumble early

Of course, there were some good things, like the early group-stage matchups and some of the Day 1 playoff matches, but the event as a whole was disappointing. It just didn’t hit like it usually does.

Streamers’ reactions to the Atomic whiff (almost exactly two years ago)

Since we are returning to dickies, thought it would be cool to remember what happened last time we were there

The $1 Million Own Goal

I hate to bring up past mistakes and ewc again, but all the talk surrounding ExoTiik’s recent blunders at ewc reminded me of this depressing own goal from him last year, which had much larger implications.

This was the 3rd-place decider against Falcons at EWC 2025, where they were playing for an extra $40K in prize money and 200 Club Championship points for their organization.

By the end of the event, Vitality finished 3rd overall at EWC, only 150 points behind Team Liquid. Those points could have easily been earned during this series, potentially securing a 2nd-place finish (additional $1 million prize money)

So, by own-goaling here, Exotiik literally deprived his organization of a chance to secure $1 million, on top of the extra $40K that players get for a 3rd place.

Mapping the remaining LANs for this year

-FIFAe Continental championships: hosted in multiple different cities including kuala lampur, Rio de Janeiro and many more. (August 23rd- September ??)

-Worlds 2025: Fort worth, Texas. (Septemper 15th - 20)

-FIFAe Finals: The main event of FIFAe, Riyadh (October - ??)

-ENC was supposed to be hosted in Riyadh this year during November but got postponed due the unstable current geopolitical situation in the middle east.

-Kickoff Lan: currently we don't have information regarding the date and location of the lan but its likely to be hosted in December

If there was one thing you would change about the format what would it be?

By “format,” I don’t only mean the format of the Majors or LAN events, but rather the qualification systems, scheduling, number of LANs, etc.. anything related to enhancing the quality of RLCS while taking logistical limitations into consideration.

What will this Rostermania bring?

What if falcons flop badly, will they stick with dralii?

Is Nrg's implusion going to be partial or will everyone go their own separate way

If atow moves to vitality who will vati replaces him with?

Who will TM replace MM with?

Will jack/rise/joyo/exotiik all retire?
