Speaking of Melanie’s ability to sing… Something went horribly wrong right before she participated in The Voice. This is really some old stuff of hers from when she sounded good. I might say her vocal techniques are not healthy at all, it’s atrocious and always been like this from the very debut. Like singing nasally, mumbling almost gibberish that leads the vocal line to be lacking of a clearly defined melodic contour and I’m concerned it’s also from a lack of musical education like she tends to sound… what would I say… her vocals aren’t obviously off-key, but the pitch feels so fluid and unfixed that it becomes hard to mentally track or reproduce the melody both of her vocals and instrumental. She hides behind vocal stylization a lot, that’s probably what Christina Aguilera tried to convey to her at the very beginning. And then it became her main narrative: burying pitch problems under stylistic phrasing. She ruined her vocal chords due to being sensitive to any criticism and actually lost it from her own stubbornness of doing it very wrong. It takes a great talent to be that stupid.

Since I can't post anything on a main snark page (I am a newbie to Reddit in general so hiiii everyone) I really want anybody to read this. It seems like nobody or pretty small amount of people noticed this.

My history of discovering Melanie as a teenager is pretty lame and not that interesting but even if I adored her artistic presence I've always been creeped out by some of her.. percularities if I might say... such as posing almost naked infront of baby crib-inspired place (that horrific pic from her tumblr) or having a song about Crybaby's earning for somebody to practice rough sex with (Gingerbread Man) aaaand her odd obsession with pacifiers. Wanna know who else among adults praises pacifiers as much as Melanie in 2015?

You can smoke weed alone and stuff but that doesn't work for that MDMA shit.

And I'm not here to shame a grown-ass woman for drug-use but it speaks a lot for her persona. She's always been here to every pretentious shit like taking mushrooms for spiritual growth and enlightenment but I'm devastated someway more due to my lil discovery. In my very humble opinion: I'll be not surprised if she actually had most of her DDLG role plays under the influence 'cause yeah, MDMA is also known for increasing libido blurring the boundaries of what is permissible in sex.

Moreover, in one of her recent interviews, she even said that she never took drugs. Like, hard ones. Come again? It's a big fat fuckass lie. You can't be tripping on them mushrooms and then be here fully concerned it's not a big deal of substances.

She knows well to admit something like that her own fanbase would eat her alive and she'll never be able to sell them anything anymore. Or not?
