This is the Ikea drawer insert inside the Alex wide cabinets without the wheels, inside the bottom of the Pax wardrobe. I can’t use the bottom shelves anyway - cats - so this works. Planning to 3D print better fitting inserts eventually. The 6 larger drawers in the bottom have more bulk storage, baseplates, lighting parts, and tools.
Got to ride in a 2026 Model X with a few thousand miles on it today and, on nearly every level my Lyriq V is much more appealing (my bias is acknowledged, take it for what it’s worth).
I like the sleeker look of the Tesla interior with no physical buttons and am not bothered by screen access for everything. Beyond that, just ew. The ride was awful. My 10 year old Chevy Volt is a smoother ride. Everything rattles and squeaks. The giant windshield is off putting. It did kinda feel like I was flying in the cockpit of the Serenity, tho. The seats are horribly uncomfortable compared to the Lyric. Can’t speak to self-driving, since I wasn’t driving, but the damn thing kept slamming on the brakes for no reason. Plus, my Lyriq V msrp - $85k and this Model X msrp - $115k. I feel like I really dodged a bullet by avoiding Tesla and love my Lyriq all the more for it.
Anyone else have issues being blinded by this little piece of cheap chrome plastic when the sun hits it? Tried to get it wrapped. Said it was too small. Any solutions? Ideas? It’s a lease
