I keep running into the same problem with “alternative data”:
The issue isn’t access, it’s turning it into something actually tradable.
Most datasets (energy, options, web data, etc.) are:
- messy
- poorly structured
- hard to align with market data
Curious how others are handling this:
Are you building full pipelines internally, or just avoiding these datasets altogether?
