Going to make an Amazon wishlist for my 21st this year and going to add some things for the guys, Any suggestions? (Even if it’s not on Amazon if your crabs really love it tell me anyways plzz)
I haven’t seen him in 6 months and seen him halfway emerged from the substrate but face up and I had a bad feeling and picked him up and I’m almost certain he has died, my guess from pps, maybe from the toxic shell, but I don’t want to bury him alive if there is a chance he could be molting, sorry for the graphic post, I just wanted to do right by him as much as I can now
No movement when touched, still firmly in the shell, no smell, extremely grey appearance
I can post a photo just feel stupid because he’s obviously probably dead, just wanting to know if there is any possible chance he could be alive?
They have been having altercations now and again but this is the first I’ve seen shell grabbing so I’m beginning to get a little worried
Both males, both will initiate aggression
The tank has 10-12 shells and they are given plenty of calcium and protein daily
Any advice is appreciated!
(I know my substrate is too low but I have a molting crab rn)
