DFW trip Recommendations
I (f26 from NY) and my partner (f28 from Philly) will be visiting Texas the second week of September. I lived in weatherford with my sister for a year in 2020, but due to COVID didn’t leave the house much. This visit we will have 3.5 days to sightsee and will be staying in North of mid FW. My partners interests are interactive museums, coffee, slow strolls, and odd attractions. My interest are live music, amazing food, cultural emersion, dark history and quirky attractions. I’m looking for recommendations that are very Texan!
What I have planned already:
-Cattle Stockyard walk/shop
-Largest Dr.Pepper (I’d love more odd places to visit)
-Terry Blacks BBQ
- A day in Denton
-A day on Magnolia
We may go to:
-Meow Wolf?
-Sue Ellen’s/Danis?
-Arboretum?
-Butterfly House?
Is there anything you recommend that I don’t have here? Which places do you recommend I prioritize over the others?
