Anyone else get nausea after switching to injectable estrogen?
Preface: I will be making a doctors appointment about this, but just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
Essentially, I switched from 5mg of oral estrogen (not taken sublingually ; I hated how it felt) and 100mg of spiro to 5mg of estradiol valerate injectable. I was on oral for 1 1/2 yrs before switching.
~3-4 weeks after starting injections i started feeling nauseous every time I eat, and need a solid 15 minutes minimum to sit and digest. I’ve also vomited roughly once week starting around the same time.
I feel like it’s possible it’s the estrogen but it’s the same medication essentially so I’m a little confused, and wondering if it might be due to some other things (moving, change in diet, end of school year).
Any personal anecdotes or advice help :)
