The brilliant mind of L Lawliet

This is my theory and understanding on L, similar to many uniquely mine. My own process and understanding of not only SCD but my debating skills culminated into my favourite smart character, for you all to use, debunk, and enjoy, so please. Read with care and argue with fun.

L Lawliet acting as a stabiliser and manager of crime, this theory denotes L's ability to stablise and understand the broad and vast system of criminology and crime as an abstract concept and how he approaches it, using understanding of psychology and analytical process to solve crimes. Use this as a precursor to my death document and scaling of L.

L shows the ability as a child not only to understand the relations between the stock market but also to relations of international crimes and politicians, the amount of subtext, context, and seemingly miniscule variables L would have to analytically account for are nothing short of immeasurable — L would have to counter and predict these variables and act accordingly finding a process to each individual case, person and crime. Movies L shows a feat similar to this, using his knowledge on crime compiling it and making bar charts and graphs based off of this, and using it to correctly draw up theorems and useful logica frameworks to analyse and compare the methodology of killing and nature of a supernatural object like the death note.

Please follow these frameworks (improve and debunk if you wish)

L will analyse->

A crimes, nature, methodology, and draw up a profile based on what would naturally or logically follow this crime and compare and compile information on it to analyse and further solve it.

L will account for thousands of variables over the years, being able to draw up schemes and analysis for each scenario and understand over time being able to stabilise and understand the mind of a criminal and the ecosystem of the criminal underworld.

L has to have a good to vast knowledge on the moral, philosophical, and political, societal, and emotional nature's of these crimes. This must be true as lacking even one piece of knowledge defeats the other premises brought up.

C1:

Over the years of solving crimes, dealing with political and societal issues, and moral dilemmas that inevitably be drawn up within crime L has acted as a stabiliser and has became able to draw up schemes or at very least methodically understand and infer the motivations and abstract nature of crime within the world of death note.

C2:

L's understanding of the human mind has allowed to pinpoint the autonomy and philosophical outlook that criminals and layman would take upon crime and life, allowing L to able to use his preexisting knowledge to apply a thought and process to each situation that may occur essentially allowing L to draw multiple conclusions and strategise accordingly. "Are you saying L is invincible or has the best strategy in SCD?" NO. I'm saying L's modality and method of response to an action or cause and effect is nothing short of high tier, his cognitive functions and flexibility allow him to operate on an analytical and deductive many characters simply cannot match.

Accepting L's antifeats and losses. No character is perfect, and that is why SCD is beautiful. This isn't just a love letter to L but to the community as well. This analysis would place L as an obvious high tier, but he still isn't perfect. I took a small break to focus on lifting. But I'll probably be back with more analysis for everyone. As said, the movies document is up next.

Back to L's emotional autonomy and response to situations in mass in a real-life situation and world; in other words, L's ability to gauge and read a situation with clarity and clear logical ability to think up a strong and reasonable strategy or response. We have L reacting to movies Light's plan. Context: Light and shiori have been dating for years, Light has genuine love and emotion for her, and clearly shows care for her cited by the cast and L himself, yet when Shiori is killed by Naomi Misora. L sees through the scheme and pinpoints the modality. After the bus hijacking and when L noticed something as miniscule as Raye Iwamatsu shifting his head to the train, he pieced it together. Light somehow had access to Misori's name and set the scheme up.

Being able to manipulate the situation into which Light would lose his girlfriend and gain the ability to join the task force and potentially grow closer to L, L had seen through the set-up, execution and conclusion of a strategy, the key main steps in any logical process. Simply by watching and observing.

Although shocked once he had learnt about shinigami, he adjusted his reasoning to accept the existence of the spiritual and metaphysical, being able to reason and come up with appropriate conclusion and reasoning to bring himself closer to the truth, being able to adjust his scope of understanding and reasoning in accordance to his situation to adapt and accept different values of truth. Even if it forces him to accept the logically impossible.

In conclusion, L Lawliet is undoubtedly a high tier, with his flowers making him deserve respect. Under my theory and scaling, I have taken like him being above certain high tiers and verses as well. My goal here was to provide a sound method and a digestible way to understand L's ability and approach to thinking under sound reasoning and classical logic using conclusions and premises.

SCD vs stopping the Time Traveller

Rules and Situation:

The character will be taking the place of sans. You will not have his knowledge or abilities. You must either A: discover what the anamoly is. Or B: Stop it completely.

The Situation (I'll be describing this from the point of for sans and his Situation, with scaling)

EQ, creative thinking and reasoning (Abductive):

Sans has shown the ability to determine whether the anamoly has travelled through the undeground or taken the same course of action through emotional intelligence and his reasoning with creativity.

However, unlike fanon, sans doesnt KNOW the full extent and doesnt fully remember resets, through the machine of his lab which is theorised to either be an experiement concerning space time, or a way to travel to different worlds. We know that sans along the way have discovered the theory of multiple timelines and applied his prior knowledge of this to analyse and gauge the anamoly (crystisllised intelligence, knowledge)

This theory he's developed is shown to be true as a joke. Sans has a series of actions you undergo to jokingly prove you're a time traveller. (But it isn't a joke. it's pretence, so the Sans of now can be wary of you and certain of your intentions. ) ironically called legendary fart master, which he plays off.

This leads us to two realities, I've come to. Either. with his prior knowledge sans has come to the possible existing conclusion that time travel is real. And jumping between space time is possible (sans has connections to working with alphys and the royal guard, narratively solidifying his intelligence as a scientist) or during that timeline he came to the conclusion that the anamoly acted in that triggered something in his head, thy acted in a way unusual for someone who's never been here before. So he used a contingency, something so ridiculous only a time travel would bother to say. Why would this OP? Because Sans has already come to the conclusion that the anamoly is a curious being, it treats his world as a game, book, or novel. It wants to learn and test. So sans presents the opportunity with a simple layered joke that has a 3 dimensional layer to it. With humour, cause/test, and then effect. Both of my prior conclusions proved true via the evidence listed above. So I shall combine the two. (EQ, deception, strategy)

Sans knows a few things for sure that show how he acts. The anamoly is curious. It can sometimes act normal, neutral, or genocidal, and it is curious and experiments with the world. Via facial expressions, knowledge sans knows it can travel through time at will. Saving and loading. But why? He doesn't know, so he questions.

From his point of view. The anamoly:

Cannot be killed, can not be stopped, can pick and choose specific points in time, can can control all time and space within the surface and underground, defeat gods, and control memories. even his. But along the way, Sans has developed a sure fire to read and calculate and predict the amount.. it dies. he can accurately read and calculate the emotions. Via a simple, unchanging, never moving, completely sociopathic yet calm and kind face. An anamoly inside of an anamoly, it doesn't react to other people. Yet sans can. No one in the under ground besides flowey. Who has fully knowledge of the entire world and cosmology, meaning sans is the only logical monster existing (Gaster is a theory) that has concrete knowledge. But not a memory.

If you're smart, you would've noticed a glaring issue. Sans can't remember. No one without space time hax or resistance to reality warping can resist frisks resetting power. Frisk can even do a true reset, in which sans only has faint glimmers of a deduction, which he then STILL forms.

That's right. The anamoly has the ability to manipulate the reality around the underground on a 5th dimensional scale.

Undertales cosmology through dialogue is contained to understand the theory of space time, have temporal and spatial axis a like, but multiple space time continuums and an infinite amount of dialogue and possibility. Frisk and chara defeat beings who scale above it and destroy it.

Fighting is impossible for anyone below this 5th dimensional plane.

But remembering is as well. Through his preexisting knowledge, although faint. Sans can remember glimpses of the impossible. And even process and accurately read the fact the anamoly can travel or.. how many times it has. Why it has. In the genocide run, he acknowledges how it has.

Perfect memory recall doesn't work here. Your entire brain is wiped blank, sans has existing contingencies, secret layered traps, and codes. His eerily acute abductions and emotional reading to recall and form ideas and theories, which, again by routes and dialogues, sadly prove him right.

Allowing him to be ready. But even with all of that. It doesn't matter.

Because the anamoly has yet another trick. Determination. It can not die if your attacks are bound to the 5th dimension. It will always ALWAYS come back. you stop it in one timeline? It learns your attacks, favourite foods, and dialogue and resets your brain. It comes back stronger, quieter, faster.

It has infinite time, but due to your finite scope of reality, you're limited. You don't ever know you have unlimited tries. How could you even find that out? You can't even prove this world has more than timeline logically in your head when you DO remember.

Now imagine constantly forgetting that.

It is almost fully unstoppable. You can't stop it. Unless you're somehow stronger. You can't outsmart it either.

Even sans' trumpcard of blackmailing it into giving up, which has to work in some timelines. Fails in another.

This situation that gave sans his brilliant feats, which I personally scale at high tier in the respective categories. Without the theories and knowledge he built himself, you can't even remember your last plan. And any plan attacking the save point won't work. Frisks' freakish determination forced itself to live without it and still reset.

For any realistic high tier. This almost can't be done. For most unrealistics, they'll need ontology. But there's more. Not only do they have to solve this without any prior memory, but the requirements to stop frisk are as follows:

Figure out their method of time travelling (meaning without preconceived notion or logical guess, you'll have to deduce the fact they can make a fixed point in reality and access space time through it)

We can assume a new line of reasoning through EQ and the ability to read emotions that the traveller somehow has an understanding of the character without existing in the world to our characters prior existing knowledge they can make an inference C1:

The traveller either has studied and researched the underground prior to entering.

C2:

The traveller has gathered intel on them somehow without having existed to our character before, having some sort of method to passively gain and retain information on the character, this leads to C2.2 which is similar to Sans' a methodology only high tiers would route themselves upon, leave notes and ambiguous clues around their area of residence or tidbits of information they can come back to.

C2.3;

Test the targets knowledge on these tidbits, if the process is as follows: The traveller understood and knew the traveller can retain information even if to their knowledge its their first time entering the underground, or C2.4;

The traveller has already heard this line before tying back into these conclusions. However, these don't logically point manipulation of space and time or understanding of the world's spatial and temporal functions.

The other option:

Stop the traveller;

Not physically possible for characters below 5D, so we'll skip it.

The conclusions drawn from this for our character are as follows.

The anamoly can gain and retain information prior to our knowledge, the anamoly can operate seemingly without issue and has vast knowledge on the surrounding world and how to maneuver it, but no knowledge on they've gained this intell. Why would they assume time travel? Unless they've experienced something similar? It just isn't a natural conclusion.

In total, this is one of the hardest cases, and brutal. Sans, even with the necessary tools and intel, couldn't stop the time traveller due to the fact that even with it there, he couldn't even come to the possibility that an ability like reset would exist or the metaphysical and dimensional layers and functions of a concept like Determination and how it'd affect his world and timeline.

My Light Yagami analysis

Narratively, L is the greatest detective in the world, one that has already cornered and suspected Light and forced him onto the back foot placing cameras inside of his room and constantly monitoring and noting down mentally each action Light will take to arrest him. We know L's ability to analyse, and his ability to process is extremely high just via statements and implications and his monitor hax just adding onto the quality and strength of this feat for Light.

As Light with 64 cameras constantly monitoring him is able to deceive the kira task force and force L into conceding and retreating in this strategy by maintaining and building up the image of perceived normalcy, which is only one layer of this feat, as if the killings suddenly stop with Whilst he is monitored L has a win-condition in proving his guilt, requiring Light to set up the bag of potato chips to simultaneously kill and act at the same time with near perfect facial expressions maintaining a calm posture and outwardly 'normal' demeanour to avoid scrutiny from L.

Light also had to use verbal reasoning and his ability to read mouths to silently kill criminals to prove kira is still active whilst he is under surveillance to convey and sell the idea that he cannot or at least shouldn't be the main suspect in being kira performing high and quality levels of acting whilst performing a task that requires high levels of cognitive reasoning and ability against a complex and difficult opponent.

The memory loss plan:

The initial setup and premise for the contingency and invincibility requires Light fooling and deceiving L long enough with the 13 day rule, Light had set up numerous variables and lanes of opportunity to clear himself whilst forseeing and understanding the minds an processes of those around him before hand. This isn't lucky this layered and analytical prediction relying on emotional intelligence and seemingly higher dimensional levels of strategy to understand not only the task force but himself and misa, and who the death note would be handed too.

The conditions of the 13 day rule set up this perfectly, Light would lose his memories, thus not even knowing of the death notes existence and having seemingly a complete rewrite in his identity which would stump and confuse L, whilst criminals continue dying with it being logically impossible to assume Light pulled this off. Clearing Light and Confusing L, Light's request that the death note goes in the hand of someone greedy and that desires power is due to the fact he understands the philosophy and appeal this person would take on after receiving the death note. They'd be inherently more likely to continue killing criminals or just people that oppose them.

This would snowball into an investigation, but that isn't it. Light anticipated the retrieval of the death note, having planned to lose the notebook, and to find it once more during the investigation and retrieval. After this, he understood the emotional autonomy and innermost psychology of Rem. Using her love for misa to force rem into ending herself to save misa and kill L, checking off all of boxes in order to counter and predict L relying on his foresight and understanding of the human mind to defeat him.

The next one will be the analysis on the bus hijacking. But here's my Light Yagami scaling and the main things I use to scale him.

Rating SCD characters physiques

After talking with some of my friends, we rated the physiques of characters in general, then smart characters, to see how they are realistically from a body building and strength standpoint, aesthetics included.

Light realistically isn't that impressive in terms of his body as compared to his looks, that's not me being a smartass, but he has low muscle mass with slight definition around his stomach due to tennis. You could achieve his physique with a minimal to decent amount of cardio and light workouts his frame is average as well.

Ayanokoji, on the other hand, has a decent amount of chest definition with a nice amount of muscle, he's clearly trained, but in terms of real life, you could achieve his physique within a 1-3 months depending on genetics due to the fact the muscle mass isn't generally insane and the definition is attainable.

Souichi, on the other hand, is insane. A lot of muscle mass, lean with a good solid frame, wild shoulders, and good traps, giving him a strong muscular build with low body fat and a strong v-line, his physique would take anywhere from 1-3 years again on genetics, diet and the intensity of your training.

And lastly we have batman. He's batman, his physique is going to be near perfect, peak human conditioning with martial arts, cardio, and acrobatic training mixed in between with callisthenics as well. The genuine bare minimum for his physique would be 5 to 7 years. His entire body is developed for all functions, from strength to cardio and movement.

One more disclaimer this isn't me saying I'm built way better than the characters I rated low, and if anyone thinks that or just wants to see why I think I'm at a level to rate anything, I've got no issue with that or if you want to see. This is for fun and a break from my constantly long and detailed analysis posts

Upcoming Movie Death note Doc

I am analysing all 4 of the Japanese death note movies and compiling my feats and analysis for the entirety of each 2 hour movie, going over Light and Mainly L's feats, Im on the second movie but for now I've done the first movie and I'm nearly half way with the second. Although I must say, their movie counterparts are already more impressive, displaying higher levels of quality and quantity already. Movies Light has very good event manipulation and overall deception, whilst movies L displays brilliant EI, reasoning, strategy and so on

What is Koenji's real scaling?

I've been seeing a lot of koenji in SCD debates and edits, but I genuinely want to know his scaling as I've only analysed Ryuen and Ayanokoji currently for SCD, and I am curious to his feats and narrative

My initial insight and analysis on Patrick Jane

This will be me sharing the current analysis and documentation I have conducted on PJ with all of my thoughts and current frameworks in which I've scaled him through thus far, although I am only on season 1 and this doc is a little old since I watched the mentalist a month ago, but dropped it due to my coursework taking over.

Anyway, here you go;

Episode 1:

Based off of minimal body language. Facial expressions and overall non-verbal signs of discomfort near her husband, patrick is able to discern the difference of suspicion and uncomfort at a glance and uses it to be able to form an induction of the wife's suspicions of her husbands role in her daughters death.

After seeing various photos and frames in the house pj is able to deduce the meaning of the father and daughters relationship and guides the mother gently to her own conclusion that she believes her husband did it, without causing distress. He does this by making her believe he already knows what's going on. Using the prior pictures in the house to form detailed psychoanalysis and emotional reading on her current mental state, and her past experiences.

After this he then frames the mothers suspicions as something innocent, calling it a mother's intuition and making her feel comfortable and less guilty of her thoughts. He then confronts the husband and after that, the wife sees his reaction and realised her suspicion was right. All while subtly being led on a string and manipulated by pj in such an intricate way that she wouldn't ever realise she's been guided to the this deduction. (EI, SI, indirect manipulation.)

Theres also the fact that based off of only pictures and facial expressions in said photos he's able to read each individual microexpression, and subconscious tell he immediately formed the correct deduction of the nature of the crime, the fact that the father killed his daughter, due to he refusing his sexual advances and grooming. There's the fact pj did this within seconds of seeing the photos, and did it casually. While making breakfast.

He was also able with pinpoint clinical accuracy figure out the cause of death of each victim, whilst only being there for minutes, but also accurately read that the male victim was gay. By only glancing at his body.

The psychoanalysis of Red John:

Pj is able to accurately predict and read the fact the true killer isnt red john, through his emotional intelligence he forms a profile of RJ, he's a showman, with a sense of pride, the first thing you see is the smiley face. He's mocking you, hurting you. He wants you to walk into the crime scene. And see him first, all of his prior crime scenes follow the same methodical and almost dramatic approach. To make you feel dread, despair and then. And only then will you notice the victim, a psychological attack on the mind.

The indirect guiding:

Pj guides a doctor he suspects of murder, by subtly dropping breadcrumbs throughout the episode about a diary, he mentions they solved a recent case via a diary and continously tells the doctor about it. Seeming sure in the fact that it exists and will be the key to case, in reality it's a double edged lie, if the diary does exist the doctor incriminated himself, if it doesn't, it means that he had reason to lie about not believing PJ thus incriminating himself again.

However the diary never existed, instead written inside of the note was taunts. Messages, written by PJ in advance to corner the doctor and force him to confess or reveal his guilt whilst he recorded the encounter on his phone, even predicting how he'd act and what he'd do, days beforehand. Tricking him to forcing his hand and searching for the diary. Being able to form an accurate deduction based off of again minimal and miniscule evidence.

Episode 2:

PJ deduced the entire scene of the crime again. Based off of minimal information and only visual evidence, due to the cause of death. Lack of marks on the neck and where the victim was dumped, he deduces that the killer originally brought her there for sexual assault, but when she made too much sound, he smothered her in the heat of the moment and damaged her body to make it seem like a murder instead, however the location suggests only a local would've known to bury her there.

Rock paper scissors:

By reading body language and facial expressions like eye movement alongside microexpressions, he's able to accurately read and predict what hand the person will throw, predicting and guessing with near perfect accuracy in seconds.

Hypnosis/Brainwashing:

PJ uses hypnosis on someone suspected of being involved in a crime to psychologically analyse and condition them into confessing the next time they meet, via building a safe mental place that's warm, where they're free and without burden making PJ their safe space subconsciously, after that he taps her leg, a way to physically calm her but to also further the Hypnosis and guarantee it works, using the analogy of a feather, floating freely.

Previously he deduced due to ripped posters and a cut out photo, the girl who was killed had a boyfriend, during winter, they were close and broke up, the posters being ripped showed her subconsciously moving on from childhood crushes and wanting to be more mature due to her partner, he also deduced his name began with H via minimal clues and detail and that the boy was mean spirited due to her face in the photo and the secrecy of the relationship

Through a man's cooking, and cooking alone. Pj draws a complex and detailed psychoanalysis on his urges and impulses, the overindulgence in butter and the lack of anger management shows a lack of control and a need to over step his boundaries, a need to complete and satiate his perverse habits. He adds too much butter, just like how he cant help but hunt more victims even when there's no time. From simple interaction PJ induces that the man like his cooking is overindulgent and impulsive, as cooking can be seen as a mirror to chefs soul and psyche.

Episode 4: (Deception, planning, EI, memory, musical intelligence, bluffing)

Based off minimal evidence PJ discerned that the killer's both had an accomplice and were searching for a code based off of a piece of paper and a bookshelf's position, after that he noticed he noticed a painting of sailors, using his prior musical intellect he linked the numbers on the painting to be an old sailor song and cracked the code via that.

Episode 6:

PJ using his Sensory intelligence, and the man's perfume and slight cent of tobacco with the wrinkles on his severed hand is able to accurately predict his age being 50, his smoking habits and due to the slight tanline that shows a ring on his fiinger deduces he's an affluent extroverted white male, who either works in business or the gambling industry with nothing but a severed hand.

After this his theory is proven 100% accurate later on. The feat is impressive due to the fact PJ had nothing but wrinkles scent and a tanline to accurately read the man's age, profession, habits and personal history within 30 seconds to 1 minute whilst in the heat.

Memorised an entire Poker dec

Was able to perceive cheating and microexpressions, looks, blinking and sleight of hand whilst memorising the deck and multi tasking all at once, and playing the charming facade, he used the memory method by applying a character to each individual card and saving it to his memory palace, allowing to him to remember the card via the preexisting character he made for said card in his mind, for example the two of diamonds being a duck smoking a cigar.

What makes this impressive is the fact he applied a character to each card, gave it meaning and mentally catalogued it in his memory palace and applied his prior creativity to allow his working memory to remember and create an image of the character in correspondence to the card. Effectively letting PJ remember every card flawlessly and recall simultaneously. With every position of every card, in his memory palace as well.

With him being able to predict and accurately read people's hands simply via expression. Memory and applying thinking, even with the deck shuffled, sleight of hand, or cheating involved.

After suspecting Daniel, PJ organises a poker match, knowing he can't resist, he sets up a scheme to cheat. To influence Danny and manipulate his feelings of winning. A guise of power, he cheats the dick, swapping the hands, flashing his cards, guiding Daniel to the thought hes invincible, but PJ suspected Daniel had the chip of the victim. He uses this to his advantage and is able to subconsciously trick him into using the pokerchip, proving his link to the crime all whilst subtly dropping breadcrumbs throughout the game, leading him

Akin to a horse and a carrot on a stick.

Jane shows levels of subtle brain washing and mind reading early on. Telling Travis that he personally rides horses, and to go to a very special place in his mind, and to go round and round, the trick here is to link the circular motion of a carousel to the mental imagery of a horse and link the teo coexisting concepts together to passively manipulate the person's psyche into wanting to toward or visit a carousel.

We see in episode 8 that by touching someone's hand/palm, and getting a read on their heart rate and heart beat, like a human lie detector PJ is able to discern the difference between when people are lying and when theyre honest at nothing but a touch and eye contact, accurately guaging if someone's told the truth. Via nothing but heartbeat and heartbeat alone.

Jane is able to tell a man is lying about being retarded, based off of crucial evidence and timed readings of expression, and context. One the man, despite being challenged, is able to read to moby dick in full and retain memory of it. Two he had access to the fuel, and hidden motivation and three. Just with a glance into the eyes

Manipulation and Deception — what's the difference?

Manipulation and deception within SCD sometimes get confused, so I'll try my best to water it down with examples and analogies and link each to separate categories for a better understanding of scaling and my philosophical and logical insight into my framework of scaling as I've only discussed my EQ scaling within posts like Lelouch vs Ayanokoji and Light vs Ayanokoji.

Imagine a bottle of water and a glass of water. Both have the same function in a sense, containing water, yet you acknowledged one thing. They both contain water. Although different enough for you to make a distinction similar enough for you, understand how they link together logically.

Deception is the bottle. It completely withholds the truth, being water, whilst the glass, although containing water, isn't completely withholding the truth. You acknowledge the truth is contained but also visible to you to understand it.

An example of deception is the 13 day rule performed by Light Yagami. This feat completely (in theory) withheld vital information from L miscontrueing his understanding of the death note and due to his lack of knowledge on the true functions of the death note led to him freeing Light from isolation. It CAN be considered manipulation, but using the example I provided earlier, it's more likely deception.

Manipulation, however, can be related to Ayanokoji's manipulation of Ryuen for the X strategy. He allowed Ryuen to have enough knowledge on the truth to form his conclusions and follow a set narrative pre-planned and thought out by Ayanokoji, but he still tricked and misdirected Ryuen as well by using the truth. And if you wanna contest this example as well, it can ALSO be considered deception. The point of the bottle and glass comparison is that both are containers of water and operate basically identically, but are different enough for you to come to the conclusion that they seperate things, like manipulation and deception.

When scaling either category, you can see using these feats. Ayanokoji's is geared toward long-term strategy whilst Light's is countering and planning. Showing similarities yet still existing and acceptable differences.

Like deduction and induction will usually follow a logically acceptable and reasonable line of assumptions and guesswork but are still different in conclusion of each concept or the methodology behind each concept.

It's important to understand the scale, scope, complexity, and opposition of both manipulation and deception if X's opponent had a higher quality of feats narrative, but the scope was smaller, you can ASSUME that although on a smaller scale, it required more complex thinking. As an example to the approach of understanding both. I hope you enjoyed reading this. Let me know your thoughts as always.

Scaling Error!404 sans

Existence and Cognitive function:

Looking at 404's ontology, he's easily high outer due to being able to transcend all possible worlds and realities to an infinite degree being unbound to existence and physical forms of being, being unmoored and unaffected by magic which encompasses the totality of the baseline infinite multiverse which is already stated to have millions of AU's at least. With each one containing its own space time and save file. Saves files containing the ability to travel between fixed points in space and time.

Not only that, but he is verbatim stated to have unlimited mental processing and thought with him being able to learn and instantly understand the methodology and approach of each ability he sees and rewrites it accordance to himself and accordance to the situation 404 is able to process and understand dimensions and spaces in the cosmology beneath like Eden Orbs with one containing an uncountable amount of infinite realities within itself each having their own narrative as well.

Not only that, but being able to read one book from the Book of Minds entails the fact that he can process concepts and things beyond archetypal realms and platonic concepts as well. With 404 scaling to this and being able to process it due to his limitless mind and abilities, essentially granting him an ability to infinitely transcend anything physical and metaphysical at will.

In conclusion, 404 isn't analytically bound by definition to any physical or cohesive metric of cognitive ability and reason logically with this being a truth about his ontology and state of being. Allowing him to essentially be above systematic forms of scaling and characters.

With his low-end scaling making him high hyperversal to outer, scaling to his innermost functions and scaling of his mind and thought to high outer, or layers into it.

Lelouch vs Ayanokoji

We'll be over the ability to understand one's emotions and how they each utilise their abilities.

For cold reading and overall non-verbal analysis and facial expressions, Ayanokoji takes pretty easily, we see Ayanokoji formed detailed psychoanalysis and triangulate possible scenarios and situations in which people would act and how to plan and strategise around it. Using Inductive Reasoning and emotionally based analytical foresight to account for his plans. For example, the psychoanalysis of Kushida, which I explained in my Light vs. Ayanokoji post and the initial setup and manipulation of Ryuen for the X strategy understanding his philosophy and potential methodology.

For overall reading and prediction of nature, Ayanokoji solidly takes this.

However, Lelouch's understanding and ability to utilise interpersonal relationships and common dislike for the Britannian government showcases not only political prowess but the ability to manipulate deep and intricate emotions to set up the veil of understanding and a mutual goal, relying on his knowledge and profile of the people he manipulates, but he also uses foresight but for greater scales being able to effortlessly and seamlessly understand and account for the feelings and predict potential betrayal of his comrades and utilise the Japanese's feeling of systematic oppression to guide and goad them into the false of having a saviour and figure to look up to.

Even if some of feats aren't necessarily as intricate, Lelouch utilises his charm and interpersonal manipulation to accurately and effectively gauge the impact and extent of thought that the masses would be under which is why his guise and deception as Zero flowed so perfectly initially. In terms of scale and effect, lelouch shows higher strength in mass and wide scale event manipulation and a greater degree of the effects that social, economic and political weight effect the individual mind of those around him using knowledge and prior experience showing good interpersonal skills and efficient fluid use of Crystallised intelligence.

Ayanokoji, although on a smaller scale, uses more subtle and intricate forms of manipulation and emotional intellect to affect the thoughts and actions of those around him.

I'd give

Cold reading, profiling, and overall indirect and logical manipulation to Ayanokoji.

And

Social intelligence, interpersonal relations, higher strengths, scale, and mass/event manipulation to Lelouch.

As for full-scale intelligence.

I am under the belief that the methodology Lelouch uses to formulate accurate and detailed strategies and perform counteracting against his enemies relies on his spatial intelligence and ability to draw up detailed maps of the terrain he's on to understand vantage points and potential lanes for attack, ambush and escape. Which explains his ability to effectively execute and perform these feats. Which would include visualising cities and islands. So I'll give VSI to Lelouch. There's also the feat with the FLEIJA for context. Fleija will change its composition and position from moment to moment. To stop it, you will also have to input the local data of the current environment within 19 seconds before detonation. The insane part is that even after calculating and accounting for the environment, direction, and composition, which constantly changes, you'll have 0.04 seconds to complete this.

Lelouch was able to account for all these variables and perform this calculations whilst under the pressure of losing his life, army and efforts and knowing that failure is certain death showing cognitive flexibility under intense stress and duress at once within 0.04 seconds which is inhumane.

So, I'll be giving him cognitive functions, PSI, and CPI and possibly FRI.

Ayanokoji has the ability to fluidly recall and account in great detail the sound and context of his entire life, showing the ability to at will recall 17 years' worth of living at once, which also borderline not human, there's the fact the whiteroom narrative and feats performed in there give him the edge in educational knowledge and traditional intelligence, so he'd take WMI and some cognitive functions as well.

FSIQ is CGEW as well. These two are both high tiers for me but personally in a non-fixed situation on a wide scale let's say city wide or nation wide lelouch would high diff, but in a situation on a lower scale requiring more intricate thought koji would extreme diff.

Overall I have Lulu winning.

The difference is now extreme or CGEW. The next match-up will probably CTW L vs. Johan. Johan vs. Patrick Jane. Tell me your thoughts and contentions below.

Rin Itoshi's mental illness

Rin's writing stems from his obsession, born from a feeling of insecurity and abandonment, like most children rin didn't take sae leaving well at all, but it's more than that.

Sae had built up rin over the years, rin formed a foundation of love for football, and for his brother centred around sae, they shared formed a dream together and when sae left he shattered it. But it isn't as if rin never showed any signs, rin also expressed a desire as a child to die beautifully. His symbolism with the villain or the godzilla toy was to find someone 'worthy' to kill him.

Rin often spirals into obsession over this said people, but the spiral can relate in a Buddhist sense and be a false awakening, a selfish self-loathing moment where Rin's world revolves around a fixed point, making rin obsess and hate that person, hurting and moulding one another for his selfish desire.

In a way, sae leaving rin, made rin explore or subconscious self realise the worst parts of himself, causing the egoist to 'awaken' to his innermost insecurities and trauma, a lack of communication, of trust and of anyway of acknowledging his fear for not having someone. Rin in his awakening abandons, moving on, finding friendship, and a brighter path.

It isn't just an edgy moment where he ignores his friend. It's a child slipping into mental illness even more. Thinking the only way he can have light in his world is if he meant to lose or put it out himself.

The real kicker is that even after his performance, when his eyes are shining and he has a crumb of hope, he will even acknowledge him. His brother walks toward him and congratulated isagi, extinguishing any hope rin had left of moving on in that moment, causing rin to focus his desire to destroy and be loved or even seen onto isagi projecting it. His will to devour or cannibalise his opponents can be seen as destruction, but his been portrayed as finding someone's best and mangling it.

As if he wants people to look beautiful before he 'kills them' a demented idea of dying together. Hence, the spiral, both parties awaken, whilst rin rapidly grows worse. We've seen that he's never satisfied either. A glutton for this type of reality and operation of the self.

He's not just a tragic trauma response. At some point, he actualised this and in a sad way. Decided this is all he can be. Destroy. Obsess and eventually die.

The focus on his eyes and how he looks up at sae. Or at anyone through this lens, it also reminded me of the painting of Lucifer, where he stares with tears in his eyes and it makes sense in a way, the chosen one falling down not because of anyone else encouraging him, but because of a self conscious decision. To acknowledge death and chase it.

Thinking-

Lulu

Countering-

Koji

Higher strengths-

Lulu

Lesser weaknesses-

Koji

(Note, higher strengths mean more options and viable methods to outsmart and formulate strategies, lelouch has shown higher strengths via geass, his EQ, and strategies. Ayanokoji has fewer weaknesses due to his lack of reaction — allowing him to operate under less stress and issue due to a more methodical approach.)

Overall Lelouch high diffs (+)

I'll drop my lelouch analysis comparing him to someone just like I did with Ayanokoji soon.

Ayanokoji vs Light (Again)

We'll be establishing a premise and framework the categories I'll be discussing.

EQ

Specifically, cold reading, profiling, and understanding the autonomy and reasoning of the person you've read or attempted to read.

Example A:

If X is able to successfully reason (within the realms of proper justifiable logic) and accurately guess and predict the actions of another person via the profile they've built, assuming the profile has been proven to be accurate or sustainable when analysed then this would be a proper showcase of understanding his opponents autonomy and building a successful profile and framework.

Cold reading is tied to this in this analysis and comparison. If X is able to successfully induce and understand the opposing parties thoughts and intentions based on minimal information or none at hand (for example, consider cold reading the buildup of a profile or the beginning of one) via their own ability to understand one's intentions based off of facial expressions or minute details then this would warrant them taking yhe category.

That being said, Ayanokoji takes this due to higher strengths and ability to perform within this framework, for example, the kushida psychoanalysis, with minimal and minute insight into kushida's autonomy and psychology he is able to infer and induce her facade, establishing in his mind that she is two faced and he should be wary. This will be premise 1 for the kushida psychoanalysis.

Premise/point 2 will be going over how he did it via facial expression, tone of voice and analysing her patterns and speech around himself and others Ayanokoji is able to dissect her thoughts and actions and build a framework in which he is able to induce the reason of her mask existing, essentially seeing beyond the persona she wears and the shadow and ego of kushida's autonomy, being able to induce that this mask exists to mask her insecurities and desire to be liked, but also understanding this comes from a need to be able to control a narrative and have leverage over people.

Point 3:

After this, using the logical framework Ayanokoji had built, he correctly assumes via kushida's skill and scope of depth of her acting that she's done this before. But also correctly guesses thanks to horikita's tip about the fall of her (kushida's) class in middle school. She had used her charm to weasel out secrets to shield herself in case she were to be caught. Using the minimal information and his ability to read the physical expressions of a person. His ability to see deeper into the psychology and subconscious framework of a person as well.

(Granted I'm not calling him a psychic here and if you have contentions with my analysis of Ayanokoji, I won't hate on you, just don't simply insult or troll and try to engage in dialect and I'll try to respond and justify my reasoning and framework.)

Anyway, my prior reasoning and analysis stated that is my justification for Ayanokoji taking EQ and having higher strengths within it.

Strategy and Deception.

Deception is simple. It's the ability to cover up situations, misdirect, and obscure your intentions whilst working toward your goal.

Whilst strategy and planning can be confused, I'd class a strategy as an intricate set of steps that will either take time or have development and changes within it. Whilst a plan focuses more on calculation and foresight.

That being said, Light takes deception.

This is due to the quality of his opponent and difficulty of the fear performed.

Strategy-

Shielding, adaptability, and Invincibility-> Ayanokoji

Higher strengths- Ayanokoji

Calculation-> Light.

Ayanokoji 2

Light 1.

Overall Ayanokoji wins with mid difficulty (+)

Buff nightwing

Everyone knows how to weave and dance with nightwing by know, but his bread and butter feels useless, his dash and throw with his ecrisma sticks, but it literally feels gutted.

Supports would probably say that nightwing used to be a terrorist when he first got released or updated, but I'm not asking for his original damage. I'm asking for him to actually have viable kill options now. He's still solid. Probably B or A tier, but some minor tweaks would save the character.

Also, buff wally west. We are not stopping with the flash agenda

At its core, Naruto to me. Has one main message, and it's to understand and accept pain as inherent and necessary part of life and growth. It's about accepting the baggage and grief and understanding the identity and self of who we are.

It draws similarities to Buddhism, specifically the foundation of the four truths 'Dukkha', which can mean to accept and understand pain is a part of life. But Naruto ad a character himself, goes a step further. He allows his pain to let him grow and understand himself. He lets his pain mould him into something better. Understanding his shadow and his innate self.

Naruto's relation to Jungian Psychology:

Carl Jung believed we had three selves. The persona, ego, and shadow. Naruto, as a series, displays with Naruto acceptance of his shadow. With simple yet telling visual cues. The version of himself with dark and red eyes is the self created from the hatred and cruelty he faced. A manifestation of trauma and emotional baggage. Which became, in a sense, his shadow.

Instead of confronting and denying it. He embraces it. He embraces what he went through and learns to accept it. Naruto accepts what happened to him and grows. I believe the waterfall is a representation of his mind, and subconscious it is what allows us to understand the relation and context of the scene.

Throughout the pain arc, Naruto experiences brutal and horrific losses and is stripped of his teacher by the hands of a man whose past mirrors his own. And despite the rage and the justification of his anger and potentially choice of killing him. Naruto chooses to try and understand him. To the see good. And acknowledged that pain could've suffered as well.

One of Naruto's core themes is not only his resilience but his acceptance and mercy. His empathy. He understands pain and the suffering of others. He knows what it's like. Which is exactly why he forms these bonds. No matter the circumstances of the situation.

It is an inherent part of his being, self, and identity to have a part of him that'll reconcile with the darkness of others and potentially help light be shone upon it. And that is what he is. A light on suffering. A view on the self and how to accept what happens to you.

A loud mouthed knucklehead. Who understands what it's like to suffer. So if he can, he'll help. Even if he faced prejudice. That is what makes Naruto a hero as well.

His kindness and his bravery are equal in his nature, just as his suffering and pain are equal to his kindness. Because he accepted himself as a person.
