Planning my first solo trip, Going to Shimla in June end around 20-25th. Is it a good time to visit or will there be chances of rain spoiling my trip?

How's the weather usually in june end? Can rain spoil my trip.
Is the Inter City transport system frequent or not? I'll be staying in mehli as that's the place I can afford. Can I find buses to popular areas or renting a scooty will be a better idea?
Please suggest Some local food i must try. Cafe wagera ka budget nahi hai
